Launching Nigeria’s National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System is the first step. Its true impact will come as we weave it into how we live, do business, connect with one another and deliver services across every corner of our country. Every postcode should mean something tangible: a customer reached, a delivery completed, a community better served, or emergency help arriving where it is needed. In the days, weeks and months ahead, my office will work with @NipostNgn and key actors across government, business and the technology community to embed this new national asset in our everyday lives. So to our developers and innovators, let’s build on it. The API ( You can find documentation here - docs.postcode.gov.ng) provides a foundation for integrating the postcode into the products and services Nigerians use every day. So go on and register your organisation: dashboard.postcode.gov.ng/re… and start building. To access the API: 1. Create an organisation account. 2. Submit your Know Your Business (KYB) documentation. 3. Request API access, specifying the access level you need. 4. Receive staging tokens to develop and test your integration. 5. Complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with NIPOST’s technical and compliance teams, where required. 6. Receive production tokens and go live. I also want to hear your ideas. How can we embed the alphanumeric postcode in commerce, transport, healthcare, agriculture, emergency response and community life? What would you build, and what problem would it solve?

The engagement focused on scaling Africa’s digital economy, strengthening public-private partnerships, and unlocking opportunities for sustainable economic growth across the continent. The Roundtable brought together leaders from the business, finance, and government sectors to discuss practical ways of advancing Africa’s digital transformation and investment potential. The Ambassador reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in creating jobs, promoting innovation, and strengthening Africa’s position as a leading digital and business hub.

I joined Flutterwave and Invest Africa for the Africa Forward: Investing in the Next Decade of Growth Executive Roundtable in New York. Soon: NectarFi x NGX. Everyone is excited about tokenisation, and rightfully so. If major markets like the NYSE are already exploring how U.S. equities can move onchain, the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) shouldn’t be far behind. I recently spoke with TechNext about what it could take to bring NGX-listed assets onchain, the infrastructure required, and the opportunity this could unlock for market access. If anyone on the NGX side is actively thinking about or working on this, I’m open to a conversation.

Great connecting with global leaders and investors at the GABI Unstoppable Africa session to discuss the next frontier of growth. It was also a pleasure meeting with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during his session. Good to hear him speak on what it takes to scale up infrastructure and his vision for growth across Lagos. Thank you to the Unstoppable Africa team for organising those two brilliant sessions!

Amazing and well done Dr, can't help but just imagine how much and how far flutterwave has come, asides the other big names there, there's this realization of how a company founded in the last 10 or so years has grown exponentially to command such influence and deliver value.

As of today, Pewbeam has been downloaded in 99 countries and used in 87. We now have paying, recurring customers in 29 countries. In two weeks we will enter another level of growth, and I’m mind-blown by the work the team is doing.
