See, the real letdown with not getting a Brutal Legend 2 is that the worldbuilding of Brutal Legend was stellar and I want more of it.
In the ancient past, Ormagöden, the cremator of the sky, ruled the land. The demons who plagued it fled from his light, and were forced to live underground.
But one day, a woman named Aetulia was born. She was gifted with a voice that could charm any being. The demons captured her, and used her voice to lure Ormagöden to the ground, where they could attack him.
They destroyed Ormagöden, and he exploded into the four elements of the world. His fire rose into the sky and became the sun. His blood filled the low places and became the oceans. His metal body shattered, creating shards of steel that ripped through the ground. And his scream became noise that echoed through the lands.
Thus was the land of Metal born.
Guardian of Metal: "Metal, noise, blood and fire, tell me what you most desire."
Eddie Riggs: "That's catchy. And it rhymes."
