Our hands have over 20 Degrees of Freedom (DOF). To match that dexterity without making the hand heavy, this build uses a tendon driven design which has running cables through the arm to flex the joints, exactly like biological muscles. ​The secret sauce is the math running in real time. The controller relies on the Hand Jacobian matrix (\tau = J^T F) to map motor torque directly into precise fingertip force.
