AI is getting cheap enough that you can process everything you see Built a Thrift Store Scanning Agent that processes video frames, looks up the price online and alerts you to good deals

Custom 10 gauge stinger for my office I found a HUGE roll of commercial 10/2 at a yard sale. It coils so nicely, handles cold, etc.. been making purpose length extension cords. Made one for my office with a coloured sheath and lighted ends

Gutted I couldn’t make this one - sorry folks, missed you all!
Really bummed about missing a particular Remix Jam guest 😢. There’s a @wesbos shaped hole in my heart.

This whole thing stinks Every quote tweet is paid for and every reply is from a bot. There is no chance 48% of people think this is a real person. 48% of grandmas?
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

When we say we we use AI to edit video, we're talking about this: 4 cameras, 5 hours of footage, all lined up, transcribed, trimmed with good (green) and bad (orange) takes, ready for review

Figma doesn’t want you to use MCP Amazon doesn’t want you to shop with agents Reddit won’t let Claude access threads X won’t let ChatGPT read tweets It’s starting. This happened with APIs 8 years ago.
Replying to @dsp_ @figma
Can you help me understand why you don't make various Anthropic resources available via MCP? Maybe I'm missing something.

Usually demos like these have someone back stage doing the exact same thing, ready for instant cut over. If that also fails, a pre-recorded video is the 2nd cut over. This made me like OpenAI even more. Live demos are so hard, the internet in this venue can be flakey, you are super nervous, etc.. This stuff takes weeks to prepare and I doubt these presenters had that much time
HOLY SHIT OpenAI's live demo for "Dots" completely FLOPPED💀 and then they CUT THE AUDIO on the official stream to hide it I caught the original:

> [Openai] Dot is included in your plan and conversations don't count towards your usage limit Does that also include the work that your Dot does? Seems like a big reaction to Meta Muse being free

curious if this is just an API wrapped on Luna? Luna is VERY cheap, but not Jev cheap Image inputs is great though, I've had it process images for $0.001
Decisions API, for lightning fast constrained decision making powered by Luna. Supports visual inputs, and tuned to be able to make decisions in less than a few hundreds of milliseconds end to end.

your Opus 5.5 motion graphics suck but that's okay, because we're mostly impressed the technical ability to create them deciding *what to show* and the overall style is the tricky part these aren't amazing, but providing an asset library and some guidance on style goes a long way
