Nice! Thank you @zoink ! I really appreciate it, and deeply interested in hearing more about MCP at Figma.
We plan to support Pi.

Mario and Armin were a tough crowd. Happy to have them being part of the community.
A pretty big change is that Pi now has MCP at the core. How is this even possible? What made us change our way? earendil.com/posts/you-said-…

Oh man. I gotta self censor, but some recruiter reachouts by competing labs are abysmal. Honestly at least use the model to find background on the person.

Bought an m5stack PaperMono, and now have it display a dad joke and a daily family overview in Star Trek TNG interface style. Now I want this in color!

hi I helped build this. let's get claude connected to the world! ask me questions!
It’s now easier to build plugins for Claude. We built a new portal to submit your plugin, track review, and see usage. Plugins package MCP and skills, and are becoming the way to build for Claude. MCP usage across Claude products is up 110x this year! claude.com/blog/build-plugin…

if you've built an mcp server that became a connector in the claude directory, tobin was the human on the other side. he's now building slick tooling for developers submitting plugins to the directory. ask him stuff! bonus points if you trigger his australian sarcasm

I rarely post about our model launches, but I truly enjoy Claude 5.5 and I am really glad it is finally available to everyone. It communicates more clearly, is much more concise and is a very capable model, all of it while being much cheaper. I found myself using it quite a lot.
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

AGNTcon/MCPcon Amsterdam was pretty special. Not only because of the great talks and crowds - but because of real excitement about what's coming next for MCP and cool ways that we can wire things together. Invigorating stuff!

Just coming back from a week of AgentCon/MCPCon in Amsterdam. One of the highlights was the MCP maintainer get together. We were discussing extensions, SDKs, progressive discovery and much much more. Really stoked for what it’s to come.

This has been long coming and I am very happy we are doing this!
We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code. Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md. You can toggle this behavior in /config.

Auth makes *everything* harder, this is why MCPs exist 😅
Slack API is painfully slow and rate-limited. It clearly wasn’t built for agents. Last night I asked Codex/Astra to search a huge Slack channel. My auth broke, so instead of using the API, it just used computer use. I watched it scroll through Slack quickly, faster than API. AI won’t wait for APIs, maybe.

We worked hard for this.
I was not expecting things to go this way, but I think MCPs are better than CLIs for most integrations. The models have gotten much better at tool calling, we can defer tools & MCP is now stateless. If you need to compose/filter data, add params like query to your MCP tools.

Replying to @trq212
MCP today is a massive improvement over where it started, at least on the protocol level.

Introducing ax - the Agentic Experience suite. Ora is already the best way for humans to understand agents. And now it's also built directly for agents. One tool for seeing exactly how an agent experiences any product, built to fit into any agentic loop. Simply `npx ax` .
