We traced the @Bitget hackers' money through Zcash again. 1/7 🧵 This time it came out as Bitcoin, USDT, and one $375 NFT that was "sold" for $588,000 to a buyer paid from the same Zcash exits. (More on that in tweet 5/7) Zcash hides the shielded pool. It cannot hide the edges. Between 30 September and 3 October, 9,999 ZEC ($13.1m) from wallets on Bitget's list went into the pool. We read every exit that came out, 2,924 of them, and followed the money hash by hash: 49 swaps into Bitcoin from one wallet, a cash-out through Hyperliquid to TRON, and 600 ZEC that became ETH and went shopping on @blur_io. Every hash is below. The full trail, with every address: yfarmx.com/bitget-postmortem… 🧵⤵️

6/7 The seller had somewhere to send it: a path built the day before the theft. Within seven minutes of the sale, the seller pushed exactly 219 ETH (1 + 18 + 25 + 25 + 50 + 50 + 50) into 0xB59A7ADf8E97ad5B02bcfF58923E2eDF49A66d04: eth.blockscout.com/tx/0x79bb… From there it ran through four wallets created on 23 September within 21 minutes of each other, the day before Bitget was drained, into a Bybit deposit address and on to @Bybit_Official's hot wallets: eth.blockscout.com/tx/0xf230… (157.63 ETH) eth.blockscout.com/tx/0xd7c5… (59.83 ETH) The path had been test-driven twice, 8.97 ETH on 23 September and 5.68 ETH on 25 September, each run reaching Bybit within an hour: eth.blockscout.com/tx/0x28a0… eth.blockscout.com/tx/0x3f6b… 17.45 ETH ($583k) is in Bybit. 81.56 ETH ($219k) is parked one hop short, at 0xB614079A270ACB0D3980C08A62191842E76Faea4. 🧵⤵️

7/7 Where it stands tonight. Gone: 904,123 USDT on TRON and 217.45 ETH inside Bybit, about $1.49m. Parked: 41.6 BTC ($3.53m) on the Bitcoin addresses, 81.56 ETH ($219k) on Ethereum. Every address is in our post mortem. Pending: a 100 ZEC ($131k) swap to TRON USDT, placed 47 minutes before the last shielding, still processing at 22:20 UTC. What is proven on chain: one wallet behind the 49 swaps, and every hop on both routes. We have submitted these to @bitget's portal. What is supported, by fingerprint and route: that the wallet is the Bitget attacker. Zcash hides the notes but the edges stay public. Every edge is a record someone holds: Unit, Hyperliquid, Blur, Bybit. yfarmx.com/bitget-postmortem… End of thread. Follow @YFarmX.

The Webb tour turns the telescope a full 360°, then takes it apart and stops at eight parts, each with a fact card. Fun to use, at predictable low prices. Sound on 🔊

Apple will add controls so Mac users grant Full Disk Access, which reaches every file and message, only with "very explicit user action". Some developers use it in ways that could put users at risk, Apple says, and AI agents will make the risks grow. yfarmx.com/apple-full-disk-a…
