Here is the whitepaper for our project.

Our vision for World of Defense is simple: the game must be genuinely fun to play first.
We are building World of Defense as a long-term game that can be enjoyed by both NFT holders and non-NFT players. We don't want the game to depend solely on NFTs. Instead, NFTs are designed to become part of the game ecosystem while the core gameplay remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
We consider our Genesis NFT holders as early investors and supporters of the game, and we want them to have meaningful long-term utility within the World of Defense ecosystem.
In summary, Genesis NFT holder utilities will include:
- 5,000 unique heroes. Fixed supply, 72 classes, six rarities from Common to Mythic.
- Playable heroes. A Genesis Hero can lead a kingdom of any race and fights in your army, with up to five active heroes per battle.
- Rarity stat bonus. Each hero gets +5% to +30% over non-NFT heroes, based on rarity. We tune the numbers for balance, but we never switch the bonus off in any league.
- Genesis Gate access. Only holders can take Epic and higher items, plus Hero Shards, on-chain as NFTs (Ascension). The seasonal quota runs from 2 for Common to 12 for Mythic, and quotas add up across every hero you hold.
- Earn Crowns in-game. Run Ascension for other players through the Gatekeeper Service, or rent your hero out for a season with Wayfarer Contracts.
- Compete for ETH. Genesis Heroes play in the Open League. Half of the 5% creator fee goes to the Champion's Hoard, which pays ETH to the top 100 players in each league and Siege Bracket every season. Holding alone earns nothing; you win it on the leaderboard.
- Optional by design. You can play the full campaign and PvP without an NFT. There is no game token.
