MintABear and
$MNTD: When NFTs and Tokens Operate in a Feedback Loop
Many Web3 projects run separate NFT and token campaigns with little connection between them. PlayOnMint is taking a different approach: integrating MintABear,
$MNTD, and MINT Status into a unified system.

Three Components, Three Roles
•MintABear is the identity layer. It is the NFT representing the user within the ecosystem.
•$MNTD is the resource layer. This token is used for building and upgrading.
•MINT Status is the progression layer. It tracks and rewards user participation.
How Does the Loop Work?
Users stake
$MNTD to build their MINT Status. A higher Status leads to better rewards and privileges. After the TGE, users can link a Bear to their Status; a higher-level Bear provides a boost to that Status. Additionally,
$MNTD can be burned to upgrade the Bear.
In short:
$MNTD builds Status and upgrades Bears, while stronger Bears reinforce Status. The three components amplify one another.
Why Is This Design Significant?
Upgrading a Bear now serves a clear purpose. You aren't leveling up merely for a higher number; the upgrade directly impacts the asset's role within the entire system. The token also gains multiple use cases rather than being limited to a single utility.
This approach mirrors familiar progression systems: games have characters, apps have levels, and communities have roles. At MINT, the Bear is your character, Status is your level, and
$MNTD is the resource used to upgrade both.
Illustrative Example (Hypothetical)
Imagine two users. One person might stake all their
$MNTD to upgrade their Status, while another allocates a portion to reach the "Bear" level, hoping for a greater boost. Both face genuine choices: should they stake more or burn tokens to upgrade their Bear? What is the most efficient use of resources? It is precisely these decisions that make the process feel authentic.
Conclusion
Instead of asking "What can an NFT do?" or "What can a token do?", a better question is: what happens when they are used together? This highlights the difference between isolated utility and interconnected utility and it is what makes MintABear so intuitive: the Bear represents you,
$MNTD helps you build, and MINT Status acknowledges and rewards that journey.
