JUST IN: FIFA President Gianni Infantino breaks silence, says decision to lift the suspension of USA's Folarin Balogun had nothing to do with President Trump's call. Read his statement below: "I have seen the public comments regarding the decision of the independent Fifa Disciplinary Committee related to the suspension of Folarin Balogun, and I would like to reiterate a fundamental principle of Fifa’s governance. Fifa’s judicial bodies are independent. They operate autonomously, apply the Fifa Disciplinary Code, and decide cases based on the applicable regulations and the specific facts before them. Their independence is essential to the credibility and integrity of football, and this must always be respected. Yes, I regularly discuss matters related to the Fifa World Cup with the President of the United States, and on this matter, I did receive a call from President Donald Trump, just as I receive calls from heads of state, government officials, football stakeholders and business executives from around the world on many different issues. During our conversation, I explained that there was an ongoing legal process involving Fifa’s independent judicial bodies and that the case would be decided in due course by the competent bodies. That is how Fifa’s system works, and it is a principle that I will always uphold. I read the decisions of the Fifa Disciplinary Committee when they are issued. Sometimes I am surprised by them. Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree. What I always do, however, is respect those decisions and the autonomy of the bodies that make them. Whether we personally like a decision or not is irrelevant. Respect for independent institutions and the rule of law is what protects the integrity of our competitions and the credibility of Fifa at all times."

Reminder that the reason that New York City is struggling to power its air conditioners is a Democratic Party crusade against the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant that finally led to its shutdown in 2020, which led to a massive rise in fossil fuel usage to power the city
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

Braindead activists cheered the shut down of Indian Point, a nuclear plant that supplied 25% of NYC’s electricity. Five years later the state still hasn’t been able to recover, and now residents are asked to ration electricity.

As a Native American I’m a little offended that the 14th Amendment didn’t grant us citizenship until Congress passed an exception for us. Meanwhile, a CCP spy can fly to Guam, drop a baby and fly home with the baby who qualifies to run for president 35 years later.

A doorbell camera captures two Soldiers—one a battle-hardened Sergeant Major, the other an officer—standing at a family’s door in full dress uniform. They wait with quiet dignity, heads up, eyes steady. The weight of what they’re there to do is written on their faces. They’re not delivering good news. As we approach Memorial Day, it’s easy to post flags and barbecues. But this is the real cost. Since our nation’s founding, as many as 1.4 million American service members have made the ultimate sacrifice—fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters—who never came home. Every Gold Star family knows that knock. Every folded flag, every name on a wall, every empty seat at the table carries a story of love, duty, and unbearable loss. Tonight I’m praying for every family who’s ever answered that door. For every name we must never forget. And for the brave men and women in uniform who still carry the hardest mission of all: telling a family their hero is gone. We owe them everything. Freedom isn’t free. It’s given by the blood of patriotic heroes.

So I guess the easiest way to piss off American zoomers is to tell them it’s cheaper to meal prep than eat at restaurants or order delivery. The amount of crashouts I’ve seen today is mind boggling and a little worrying. I hope young Americans aren’t this helpless IRL.

If I’m quiet on here, it’s because I’m speechless. It’s because my mind is tying itself in knots trying to understand how an Iranian man is tortured to death over Starlink internet possession, and the world organizes itself to say, actually, the regime is not the problem. It’s Israel and all of its nine million civilians—Jews, Muslims, Arabs, Christians—that need to be eliminated for justice to come.

I'm sorry. Has anyone asked our PM why we're ending our relationship with the United States? Was it the fentanyl claims about our country or the remarks about our illegal immigration/border security? All of which Liberals publicly claimed were false, but then quietly took steps to resolve? I'm confused. Has anyone asked?
