"model family" sounds weird until you stop thinking in models and start thinking in swarms family -> tribe -> civlization -> country of geniuses they're growing up so fucking fast
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

This picture is from November 2024, and in my opinion this day was one of the most defining moments of the lovable story. Half the early team got hired from this single day. Crazy how far lovable has come since then
We just raised $400M at a $13.3B valuation to help you achieve more than you ever thought you were capable of.

Anton posted this about me when Lovable was still small. It's worth $13.3B now. I joined as employee number 7 to build the enterprise motion. I left in early 2026 to build Blaise, after realizing software is only part of the problem. The services around it, the consultancy work, are the part no one has automated. Proud to be part of the Lovable Mafia. Congrats team, and let's make Europe win.
I haven’t introduced Alex yet. Alex is one of the highest-energy and highest-urgency people I know. It’s been amazing to see him bring that drive into Lovable. – Ex-physicist, entrepreneur, athlete – Former top Swedish tennis player – Double degree in Engineering Physics (KTH) + Economics (SSE) – 2× founder who sold his AI startup before joining Lovable – Has built more Lovable apps than anyone on the team and pushes it daily At Lovable, Alex was the first to jump on calls with enterprises, building our motion from scratch, recruiting a cracked team, championing the 'boring' features companies actually need (SSO, compliance, enterprise-readiness) while building internal AI agents (built with Lovable!) that power our GTM org. He sets the pace, helps us move faster with customers, and keeps raising the bar for what we can achieve together. Lovable wouldn’t be the same without him. And, he's the best workout buddy I've ever went to the gym with. PS If you want to work in a high pace environment and learn from great people, we're hiring.

I'm going to be retweeting every "taste" dunk I see from now on with art I find interesting. Giacometti was one of the more influential sculptors of the last 200 years. You'll see his influence in almost every gallery in America. Gaunt figures on a plinth base with elongated arms, thin as knives. One of the things I love about Giacometti, one of the defining characteristics of a great artist in my opinion, is that his signature style was compulsive. After the war, he described his own figures shrinking before his eyes despite his best efforts: "To my terror, the sculptures became smaller and smaller; they had a likeness only when they were very small, yet their dimensions revolted me, and tirelessly I began again, only to end several months later at the same point. A large figure seemed to me false and a small one equally unbearable, and then often they became so tiny that with one touch of my knife they disappeared into dust." Simone de Beauvoir, who knew him well during the war years, described how he would walk around with matchbooks in his pockets containing all the sculptures he'd made that year.
