The Greens have fielded candidates who called Jews “cockroaches” and “devil worshippers”. Their members have smeared political opponents as fascists while cheerleading actual fascism in the form of Hamas. And now this. The Green Party is the new BNP.
Greens labelled 'first openly anti-Semitic party in the UK' as members approve Zionism is Racism motion - but leader Polanski skips vote trib.al/0uxG7Zs

Excellent piece by @andrewdoyle_com on the debacle behind @JohnCleese ‘s referral to Prevent.
John Cleese has been reported to Prevent, the government’s counter-terrorism watchdog. My thoughts here… andrewdoyle.org/p/john-clees…

The recent comments from a Government Minister dismissing pubs and black Labradors as "far Right" only confirm that Labour is fast becoming an army of power-mad killjoys, says Alexander McKibbin. dailysceptic.org/2026/10/04/…

If true, this won’t simply be a “blunder”. It will mean that Ann Widdecombe’s murder might have been prevented. The suspect and his car were visible in the CCTV footage “over an extended period”. It seems improbable that this was an innocent oversight.

A man in his seventies has just commented on one of my articles: “I cannot remember a time in my life when society has been this censorious and proscriptive.” Says it all, really.

Over the summer, Henry Nowak's final moments were broadcast around the world. He was just eighteen, and when the police reached him on a street in Southampton he would have believed that help had come. He told them he had been stabbed and could not breathe, and they handcuffed and arrested him. I met Henry's family in June, and that meeting has stayed with me ever since. There is still much more to be said about how the police failed Henry, and about how they went on failing his family and loved ones right up until the conviction. The day after we met, I wrote to the then Prime Minister, Keir Starmer asking for an independent, rapid review of the police response, the decisions that followed, and the role of the police watchdog. I didn't publish that letter at the time, because I hoped the Government would do the right thing and I wanted to work with them quietly to make that happen. Downing Street's answer was to wait for the existing processes to run their course. Since then, Keir Starmer has gone and Andy Burnham has taken his place, yet still there is no review. There was little mention of victims in the PM’s speech earlier this week. Henry's family have waited long enough, so today I'm publishing my letter. Andy Burnham should order the review now, and I stand ready to work with him to set it up, as I offered in June. I haven't forgotten Henry, and I won't let this Government forget him either.

Reads like the Elders of Zion. Totally ignorant and fuelled by an 'analysis' of current events, whilst divorcing it from any historical context:

Lenny... Slavery has been going on since they built the pyramids In other words, the British didn't start it On the contrary, they were the ones who stopped it You can't just invent history for your own purposes
Lenny Henry has called on the government to give black people and also the Chinese free Netflix subscriptions as part of his reparations for slavery deal saying it’s time to pay it forward

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

This is deeply disturbing: Anthropic secretly invited religious leaders to SF to advise them on AI safety, had them sign NDAs, but then primarily tried to convince them Claude has a soul & moral standing, all while wining & dining them to the max. 1/ tinyurl.com/preview/296b5z8z
