🚀 Most product ideas never make it past the planning stage. Not because they're bad ideas. Because turning ideas into polished interfaces usually requires designers, developers, and weeks of iteration. I tested @Skywork_ai Design to see if AI can change that.🧵👇

In 2008, Malcolm Gladwell broke down what really separates those who succeed from those who don’t. His key ideas: • Why talent isn’t the whole story • Why hard work alone can’t guarantee success • How hidden systems shape our opportunities Here are 12 lessons from Gladwell that will change the way you think about success:

An MIT classroom experiment reveals something uncomfortable about how humans think about money, trust, and generosity. A professor gives students a simple game: You receive $5. Send any amount to a stranger. Whatever you send gets multiplied. Then the stranger decides how much to return. On paper, the rational move is obvious: Keep the money. But students rarely behave like calculators. Many send most of what they have. And strangers often return a surprisingly large share. Then the rules change. Same money. Same classroom. Different incentives. One person can divide the money. The other can only accept. No punishment. No rejection. No second chance. The generous offers shrink dramatically. Then comes the strange part. One student receives chocolate instead of cash. She can't consume it, so she gives all of it away. The class laughs. But the professor sees the real lesson: When generosity has no personal cost, generosity is easy. When something valuable is actually at stake, strategy enters the room. And this isn't limited to classroom games. Think about: • Labor — you work before getting paid. • Investing — you put capital down before earning a return. • Insurance — you pay premiums before you know if you'll need coverage. • Arbitrage — you commit resources before capturing the spread. Different systems. Same underlying principle: Value usually has to move before the outcome is guaranteed. The difficult part isn't giving first. It's deciding what you're willing to risk before you know whether it comes back. MIT's experiment turns a few dollars into a much bigger question: How much are you willing to trust when the return isn't guaranteed?

A guy uses ChatGPT for everything. Every question. Every email. Every brainstorm. Every research task. Every piece of code. One tool. One text box. One subscription. He types a prompt, reads the answer, and moves on. He's been doing this for 2 years. His coworker a product manager who uses 4 AI tools daily and produces twice the output in half the time watched him paste a 14,000-word research report into ChatGPT and ask for a summary, then retype the key findings into a separate document, then manually search Google for sources to verify the claims, then draft a client email based on the findings in a fourth tab. She told him something that changed how he works. "You're using one AI tool for 4 tasks that 4 different AI tools each handle better. ChatGPT for the summary fine, but Claude would produce a more nuanced analysis with visible reasoning you can verify. Google for the verification fine, but Perplexity would search, verify, and cite the sources in one step. ChatGPT again for the email fine, but Claude's writing quality reads more human and needs less editing. And you're doing all 4 tasks sequentially, manually, copying and pasting between tabs when each tool has hidden workflow features that would chain these steps together automatically." She showed him 11 AI tool features, workflows, and productivity tricks across 4 platforms the hidden capabilities that transform AI from "a text box I type into" to "a system that researches, verifies, writes, and delivers while I work on something else." Here's the playbook most AI users have never built 🧵

A flight attendant of 14 years watched the same mistakes from the jump seat every shift. Passengers accepting a 4-hour delay without asking for the meal voucher and hotel room the airline is required to provide. Passengers rebooking a canceled flight through the app while a 3-minute phone call to the airline's international call center would have rebooked them 4 hours earlier on a partner airline the app doesn't show. Passengers who paid $380 for a ticket they could have canceled for free within 24 hours when they found the same flight for $290 the next day. Passengers sitting in a middle seat for 5 hours without knowing they could have switched to an empty exit row after the boarding door closed for free, by asking. She told her sister something before a holiday trip that saved her $340, moved her to a better seat, and got her into an airport lounge she didn't know her credit card included. "Airlines have 11 passenger-facing features, rights, and policies that save money, improve the experience, and protect you when things go wrong. The airlines don't hide them. They don't advertise them either. The features exist in the app. The rights exist in federal regulations. The policies exist in the contract of carriage nobody reads. Each one is available to every passenger on every flight and roughly 90% of passengers use none of them because nobody explains them before the boarding pass is scanned." Here's every hidden airline feature most passengers have never used 🧵
