“Obsession” (2026), is an allegory for bad prompting and misaligned AI. If Bear had phrased his One Wish Willow request with proper safety constraints (“while remaining herself, happy, and not a demonic entity”), the whole movie would’ve been a rom-com.

p(nothing) 📈 soldiers, hold the line!
It's almost hilarious that this is the first time I'm seeing someone suggest p(nothing) Excellent food for thought! I don't have an opinion yet - but I'm mildly disappointed I've never considered that possibility

There has never been a better time to learn cryptography
One of the best decisions I’ve made was not to give up on ZKPs and cryptography. Maths has always been my favourite subject, and cryptography brings me that same excitement, the joy of solving problems in different ways. I feel blessed to use that passion to help teams ship securely and add real value for users.

Tachyon grafts a Zcash wallet's state machine over a tree of recursive SNARKs. The most important artifacts of that process are accumulators, and we've specifically designed ours for transaction aggregation and non-membership proofs: tachyon.z.cash/blog/building…

You're right that while backdoored and otherwise compromised CensorFi projects tend to see little blips of adoption, you're wrong to extrapolate it to the long term setting, where properly neutral, anonymous, and unstoppable networks dominate the rest of the lightcone.

We had censorable and permissioned monetary rails long before 2009. changing the softare backend of the legacy systems accomplishes exactly zero. O humble dev, do you understand what you are building?
Replying to @TrustlessState
It's not a moral judgment or purity test, it's a prediction. Permissioned cryptocurrency systems are built on a fundamental misunderstanding of their own technology; and are doomed to fail as a result.

@colludingnode has good tweets about the manner by which FHE (without pie-in-sky Hail Mary iO) unfortunately can devolve into MCP where a colluding quorum can decrypt forward and backwards silently forever in a non-attributable way.

Cybernetic technofascism
Some ppl in blockchain space miss is that now you can turn judgement into code via verifiable AI. Code is law has been principle of crypto. But historically it meant very simple operations. Real world is not that simple and requires judgement - is this tx coming from stolen funds? Have there been reports from credible sources that these funds are stolen? Is this jurisdiction has been enforcing spuriously or actually trying to stop criminals? Before this required a human based judgement and permissioning. Now we can deploy code to evaluate that. Inputs and LLM model is known and result can be attested post evaluation. Code is law very much literally now.

Number go up changes lives. Shielded ZEC in the hands of billions changes history. In 2024, our goal was 100 happy Zcash users. Then thousands. Then tens of thousands. Then hundreds of thousands. Now millions. Do your part. Onboard one more.

I don't like this for $NEAR tbh, you are a protocol not an arbiter of morality. Hacks/crime are bad but the response should be MAXIMUM SECURITY, FORMAL VERIFICATION, LEARNING FROM MISTAKES I think exchanges SHOULD be nervous and not assume blockchains will just save them.

There was a time when building proper decentralized protocols was very difficult, so a lot of projects leaned on centralization as a crutch We now have vibecoding and an explosion of formal verification tools The failures will be relegated to the dustbin of history

Maybe nvm? Further research indicates the underlying protocol is actually permissionless
