Crypto Finance Forum New York 2026 is in full swing at Tribeca360.
With panoramic views over the Hudson and a room full of CFOs, COOs, auditors, regulators and finance leaders, the atmosphere is buzzing with sharp insights, thoughtful questions and candid conversations shaping the future of regulated digital assets.
This morning began with The new bank stack: stablecoins, custody and on-chain settlement, featuring Tamara Schulz (Circle), Amy Oldenburg (Morgan Stanley), Matthew DeCicco (Cantor Fitzgerald) and Andy Riggs (Augustus), moderated by our CEO Antoine Scalia – exploring what stablecoins and on-chain settlement are starting to change about how banks and issuers operate.
Next, Tokenized securities and vaults in the new era of the SEC brought together Robert Krugman (Broadridge), Johanna Collins-Wood (Bitwise) and Thomas Cowan (Bullish), moderated by Hemant Pandit (Cryptio) – unpacking what the SEC’s new generic listing standards mean for how tokenized products actually get built and brought to market.
📢 Just happened: a special announcement from Antoine Scalia, Founder & CEO of Cryptio.
Some early highlights from the stage:
- Institutional adoption is moving faster than the regulatory framework around it. Morgan Stanley’s Amy Oldenburg said that “the train has left the station”: even without full legislative clarity, major institutions are continuing to build – with the harder challenge now being how to operate consistently across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
- The biggest challenge is cross-domain operational. As banks bring more activity on-chain, they still have to reconcile it back into decades-old books, records and control frameworks. Across the panel, the question kept coming back to the same thing: what is your source of truth when activity spans blockchains, custodians and traditional financial systems?
- Tokenization may ultimately become invisible infrastructure. Bullish’s Thomas Cowan compared it to the internet's invisible plumbing: "We don't think about encryption at all, but it underpins everything you do on the internet today. Tokenization will be the same."
And the day’s far from over.
After lunch break, still to come:
Finance leaders’ outlook: Navigating capital markets as a digital assets business, with Francisco Flores (Securitize), Pankaj Soni (Uphold), Nadia Asoyan (Alpaca) and Thomas Wu (Ledn), moderated by Reza van Roosmalen (Deloitte) – followed by View from the FASB and leading auditors, with Aarika Friend (FASB), Marissa Scicchitano (Wolf & Company), Steven Baum (CBIZ) and Geron Morgan (Forvis Mazars), moderated by Jeff Rundlet (Cryptio).
Stay tuned!
