Rune: move compute to stranded power - workload accommodates infra Armada: move self-contained cloud to places the cloud can't reach - infra accommodating env Runware: turn lots of cheap little sites into one logical inference cloud - network accomodates individual-site weaknesses the security, monetization, and distribution of all these micro data centers will be very different, but the diversity shows the UNIT of compute has to be reimagined

This week, we launched the Waves Innovation Accelerator with alumnus @danwrightSF, co-founder of @armada_ai — one of the most exciting and important companies in AI. Our most brilliant students will start building their own companies NOW. @pepperdine (like @armada_ai is a 🚀)

If we want to set ourselves up in the pacific to deter conflict, a couple of things need to happen: 1. We need build out our on prem compute infrastructure both CONUS and OCONUS, establish areas for our tier 3 nodes across the pacific 2. Secure persistent energy for the data centers and other energy hungry weapon systems and needs for our advanced bases. This needs to be a mix of renewable and Nuclear Energy. We are making the assumption that supply chain for LNG, Diesel and Coal will be tight and unavailable 3. We need to fix the accreditation for Cross Domain Solutions to go up and Down classifications so that we can enable post training and fine tuning of models at speed in which we need it. We will need for our data to go from unclass to TS networks and back down to where it needs to be anywhere in the globe at the unclass level within 50ms. 4. We need to secure GPUs and key minerals. We also need to build a series of chip fabs on US soil to manage and control supply chain of memory and logic chips for us to continue to build. 5. Speed up manufacturing for everything, but specifically missiles, autonomous systems and weapon systems. The More we have the less likely we will be in a conflict. The key here is to get manufacturing as forward and persistently as possible. 6. Better, more persistent and redudant comms using tactical mission networks, 5G and PLEO infrastructure.
