We successfully delivered India’s first independent AI developer conference - AI-India 🇮🇳 on April 12 in Gurgaon. ❤️ 🌞 We had 300+ senior developers, 12 speakers, and 12 deep-dive sessions covering topics like RAG, agents, eval, security, migrating legacy systems using AI, vector search, Vercel AI SDK, Microsoft AI stack, and more. 🔥 What made this conference truly different was its independence. It wasn’t tied to any single model provider or ecosystem. That gave us the freedom to explore, question, and learn across the entire AI landscape , not just within one platform. The discussions were intense, technical, and meaningful , real developers talking to developers. No surface-level hype, no social media noise, just deep, honest conversations about building with AI. 📸 Please see photos from the conference here: photos.app.goo.gl/CyiAAcwq9Y… I’m proud of what we were able to create. 😊 A big thank you to all the speakers, attendees, and sponsors for the trust and support in making this happen. 🙏 Once again, thank you so much everyone, see you at the next edition of #AIIndia in November in Pune. 👏 #nomadcoder #AIIndia #conference

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

JavaScript Promise Executer are Synchronous • When we create a Promise, the function passed to its constructor is called the executor. • The executor receives two functions, resolve and reject, which we call to settle the Promise. • These executors are synchronous in nature. To understand that, let us consider the example, const p = new Promise((resolve, reject) => { console.log("A"); resolve("first"); console.log("B"); resolve("second"); reject("error"); console.log("C"); }); p.then(value => { console.log("Promise:", value); }); console.log("D"); You should get the expected output as shown below, A B C D Promise: first *This is due to synchrouns nature of executer* . Also *A Promise can settle only once. Any later resolve, reject, or thrown error cannot change that settled state.* So tips to remember about JavaScript Promises • executer are synchronous • First settle wins • Promise is settled only once #JavaScript #Interview #nomadcoder

A little life update - I was recently laid off. It wasn’t something I saw coming, and honestly, it took me some time to process and accept it. But I’m ready for what’s next... ✨ I’m a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience building backend systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud products, SaaS and iPaaS products. Over the last few years, I’ve worked across Java, JavaScript, Node.js, MERN, AWS, REST APIs, databases, Terraform, Kubernetes, and distributed systems, with a strong foundation in DSA and System Design, and I've had the opportunity to work on products solving real-world business problems. I’m currently looking for Software Engineer / Backend Engineer / SDE-2 roles in India. I’m particularly interested in teams where I can: → work on backend & distributed systems → solve meaningful engineering problems → build scalable APIs and services → work closely with product and engineering teams → continue growing in system design and product engineering If you’re hiring, know of a relevant opening, or can connect me with someone who is, I’d genuinely appreciate an introduction or referral. 🤍 RTs & referrals would mean a lot. I left Google DeepMind in June. Jacob is right: many researchers believe they are building something that could kill everyone on the planet. It was literally my day job to think about how to stop that.
Replying to @hilbertspaess
The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

why @ndtv, @aajtak, @timesofindia, @the_hindu, @IndianExpress, @Telegraph, and the opposition talking about this? India has become a joke over the last 5-7 years!

AG-UI speaks subagents now 🤌 Your framework already delegates: supervisors, planners, agents-as-tools. What was missing was the frontend knowing which child produced what. Learn more about it 👇 docs.ag-ui.com/concepts/suba…
Just shipped Subagent support in AG-UI 🎉 So when your agent delegates work to parallel researchers, the frontend can tell them apart. → Subagents nest, run concurrently → One can pause for approval while siblings keep running In TypeScript, Python, and .NET SDKs. Try it: docs.ag-ui.com/concepts/suba…

Best video to start the day ❤️A newly married couple in Bhatiyat, Chamba, risked their own safety to save a young biker who was stuck in a flash flood. It was literally a matter of seconds before he could have been swept away. The newlywed bride gave her dupatta, and together the couple pulled him to safety.
