Speaking as a foreigner who only visits for the games (and the Family) the reason the atmosphere is electric and always is, is the noise of the crowd. That’s where the passion is. There’s a reason Saban said JH is haunted and it’s its people.
My 2 cents on the JHS in game production discussion: it was hard to hear the mic man and band over the dubstep/techno music. Anytime the fans tried to get a chant going you just heard lil John screaming "get out of your mind"
Auburn fans are awesome. The Auburn band is incredible. We've been doing those chants for decades. Just let the JHS crowd do their thing, they won't let you down. I understand wanting to try out the flashy new toys but it was a little much. The folks in charge of these things listened last week when it came to the crowd flow/congestion concerns. They got it fixed and I saw no issues on that front Saturday. Hopefully they will continue to listen to the Auburn family and make the necessary tweaks.
At the end of the day Auburn won so I had a good time. That's the reason I'm there. Get that win. But the conversation around the in game experience is valid and having an open discussion about it is a good thing.
