Men who claim to be women are a category of men, on the basis that they are men. Creating a category of men who are exempt from or above the law has been tried many times & always failed in exactly the ways you’d expect. Making it a criminal offense for a woman (@doramoutot) to point this out gives the worst men in society a legal loophole to have power over & punish women. Only the bad men win.

So, after the US failed to kill Christa Pike, she is now 'receiving life-saving care' in hospital. Make sense to anyone? The only humane answer is to abolish the death penalty bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmn4…

Maybe the Green Party should make it easier for them to identify their members who go to synagogues. They could, say, force them to wear yellow stars?
🟢 EXCL: Green Party members risk being reported to the party for racism if they belong to “Zionist” synagogues, under plans to be voted on at the party conference this weekend Green members decided against an amendment designed to protect Jewish members attending self-declared “Zionist” organisations, including synagogues and prayer groups, from reports of racism, at a party workshop last week discussing the motion The motion in its current form sets out that “Zionism … will be treated as any other form of racism" - meaning members reported internally for “Zionism” could be made subjects of racism-related disciplinary procedures In a recording of the meeting seen by @thetimes, Sam Alston, a Jewish member of the Oxford Greens, argued that making members face internal disciplinary procedures for attending synagogues that self-described as Zionist would be “indirect religious discrimination” Alston added: “The reason we need this amendment is because, if the Green Party members vote down the idea that the synagogue membership should be protected and should be compatible with Green Party identity, it would be a terrible signal to send to Jewish members and I really think we are not going to do that.” thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

We have seen failings in maternity care and now in breast operations. Trusts were so busy erasing sexed language, that they haven’t noticed this is harm to women. More evidence of sexism in medicine @Policy_Exchange bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckdd…

Maternal deaths in Afghanistan could rise by 50% this year. After the Taliban's ban on contraception, women are being forced to give birth without doctors, miscarrying without treatment, and losing access to even basic medicine.

What exactly is the motive of TV and radio shows repeatedly putting a price tag on #disabled people? Why keep asking what they “cost” and whether the country can “afford” them? What conclusion are they trying to lead audiences towards about the value of disabled lives? 🤔

I stay on X because this is the place that alerts me every day to women's rights being dismantled. Whether it's Harringay Greens trying to dispense with single sex spaces or Bimbo Hill Walker Rory Stewart not understanding grooming gangs as huge ongoing issue. The word women cannot even be said. Neither seen nor heard.

"Having erased female as a category, is it any wonder that the government goes on to argue that putting biological males into women’s prisons is fine as long as they identify as women? Further, the government insists that if the women inmates — the biological females — are sexually assaulted by the 'gender diverse' prisoners — the biological men — that it is not a breach of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This is not just madness, it is unhinged, demented and dangerous lunacy." nationalpost.com/opinion/mic…

Women have officially lost exclusive use of the word 'Woman' in Australia now. Any reference to 'Women' in Australia, no matter the context, means 'Men and Women'. Women's single sex spaces, sports and services are all now 'Men and women's single sex spaces, sports and services'. When women gather exclusively of all men to discuss issues that only affect women it means 'Men and women will gather exclusively of all men and women to discuss issues that only affect men and women'.
