Building @Typefully: the social media workspace for teams and agents.

Wipe all your skills and start from scratch. With AI models getting so good, there is a lot of value in starting from scratch with your skills stack. All the cruft in your CLAUDE.md and skill files accumulated over the years is actively harming smarter models. This particularly applies if you create skills by directly prompting AI models and your skills are bloated and full of duplicated instructions and redundant guardrails. Had a similar experience recently by reinstalling OpenClaw 2.0 and only migrating the 3-4 things I actually use. Same applies to coding projects.

Recently, I have been using the @t3dotcodes harness as my daily driver and I’ve come to appreciate the minimalist features set: simple and single-threaded chats without side chats or crazy nesting plus amazing cross-device sync. No fluff. I am sure mods will be useful, but I doubt people will get as much value out of them as they think they will.
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

Really in love with my @useTRMNL. It’s quickly becoming the home for all my personal software controlled by my agents, like this meal board. Especially like how it unobtrusively surfaces information throughout the day in my living room.

This applies more to early-stage ideas that show early signs of traction. It’s okay to build in public once you reach escape velocity or nail distribution. Even then, you probably don’t want to share insights competitors can instantly clone (like the new channel we discovered that doubled Typefully’s signups and trials a few days ago 😁). The biggest alternative in the replies seems to be private communities. I can relate, being in a couple of cool Telegram groups. These communities need to be small, and members should be vetted (maybe with an invite system).
Build in Public is dead because of the ease of cloning ideas. How could it be reinvented to keep the good parts only?

Instinct is the most impressive products I have ever tried. Even more so coming from such a young and clear-minded founder. Why do I like it? It’s proactive, smart, whimsical and generally delightful to use and makes you really feel like you are interacting with a top-tier human personal assistant working 24/7 to ensure every part of your life goes smoothly. After having tried OpenClaw/Hermes and all the coding harnesses, none of them really compare. Instinct has implemented the absolute freaking best memory system out there. It remembers everything and brings it up in surprising ways even making connections between different memories unprompted. It’s also crazy how proactive it is and how it seems to bring up what’s relevant just at the right time. I have been using it for travel, shopping, booking things, coordinating with my gf and friends for events and playing tennis (different Instincts can talk to each other on behalf of the owners). It’s truly incredible.
My conversation with Noah Shinn (@noahrshinn), founder of Instinct. Noah is building a personal AI assistant. It's still invite only, has spent nothing on marketing, and is growing roughly 10% A DAY. This is his first long conversation about the company. We discuss: - Why Instinct doesn't have an app - Buying compute months ahead of exponential demand - How users learn to trust it with a credit card - Safety and security - Agents coordinating with other people's agents - Instinct's business model - Apps built on consumer inertia - and more Enjoy! Typefully users are going all-in on our MCP. We are serving 5M+ requests every week from the MCP alone.

I am no longer reading every line of code. It took me some time to get comfortable with this, but I finally realized that given current model capabilities, reading every line only slows you down and limits the impact you can have. I am still very much in control of the ideas, architecture and verification, but no longer obsess over every single line. We must embrace our agentic future and stop obsessing over code. PS: still reading codes on critical paths when security is involved.

What really sets Fable and Sol apart is taste. I think raw intelligence is comparable, but you can’t put a price on getting it just right on first try and producing incredibly mergable code without back and forth or crazy prompting. And that's what Fable does better than Sol.

Everyone better start working on MCPs and getting listed on the ChatGPT and Claude marketplaces. I believe that in 2-3 months, all major AI labs will offer their own OpenClaw/GrokBot experience. You can see they are building toward that. “Agents with a computer” will no longer be limited to hobbyists capable of setting up a Hetzner server or Mac mini, and it will increasingly be the way everyone interacts with software.

Basically: if it’s something you’d normally have to open a browser and click through yourself, try asking ChatGPT Work to do it. Logging into websites is rolling out today on web and mobile for Plus, Pro, and Business users.

Few remember it, but Typefully started as a marketing side project of Mailbrew. It was completely free and looked like this.

This is also our most advanced React app yet, taking advantage of years of learning. A lot of magic happening under the hood to make it work flawlessly on all devices. I'm particularly excited about the many interactions powered by @framer Motion ✨

This wave of new social scheduling apps isn't an AI thing per se. It's been happening for years and AI has only accelerated it. People see players in the space posting their MRR every 5 minutes on X and think it's easy money. They assume you can vibe code a scheduler in a weekend and grow MRR fast. The reality is way different. Integrating with these platforms is genuinely hard and expensive. Keeping up with API changes, new formats, collaboration features. If you build something shallow, you end up competing at the bottom of the market where churn is brutal. With all that said, we're definitely feeling the competition. It's real and it's coming for all software. The way we are approaching it is accelerating on roadmap, investing in polish and robustness, building hard features (see our new calendar) and delivering value for users that value quality.
Why are there suddenly so many indie social scheduling apps? Is there something open source that people are tweaking and building on? I somehow don’t believe that these are all vibe coded from scratch.
