Fed chose violence (rate hike) But this is actually a set up for an equity rally - incremental data points likely dovish - Fed moves “max” hawkish, now room to walk back Get the premium service “first word” at fundstratdirect.com/tlee-ser… @fundstratdirect 🥇 Use evidenced based research to understand markets and build a portfolio PS: Free 30-day trial FYI 🆓 😍 @FundstratCap @BitMNR $BMNR $BMNP

Private AI On @ethereum
Today the EF and OA announce zkAPI—a new means for private AI Picture this: deposit ether into a vault, sign a zk proof, get a fixed amount of private inference. Advances like these help us move past middlemen's requirements that we link our data and identities. Read more below

Good read 👀 by @mariuslsmith
The chart is right. The conclusion isn't @LorenzoARK. Count only tokens held on-chain outside exchange wallets and the Ethereum ecosystem holds $1.14B of tokenized stocks, versus $0.66B on Solana and $0.44B on BNB. Here's the full picture, same source as your chart. 1/ Supply, not volume, is the scoreboard. Ethereum leads it. Raw supply today (Blockworks, Oct 2): BNB $1.14B, Solana $875M, Ethereum L1 $812M. L1 alone is #3; with its L2s (Arbitrum $158M, Robinhood Chain $146M, Base $35M) it's $1.15B, #1. But $700M of BNB's total sits in exchange custody wallets (Blockworks' CEX Balance metric), mostly Binance's, versus $213M for Solana and $13M for Ethereum L1.

Surprised this hasn’t gotten more attention: Ethereum L1 is barely showing up in the tokenized equities boom. Tokenized equities already account for 12% of spot DEX vol on-chain, yet Ethereum L1 has close to 0 market share. Robinhood, Arbitrum and Base are doing the gruntwork obviously. But where does that leave the L1? Tokenization is going to reshape the onchain economy, and tokenized equities are going to be the fastest-growing segment over the next 2 years. Ethereum needs a clear vision for what belongs on L1, what moves to L2s, and how the two fit together, from security and governance to liquidity and value accrual. More on this in my article next week.

Head of Macro at Fidelity, btw
I continue to like both gold and Bitcoin, but especially Bitcoin looks interesting right now. For one we broke through resistance at $80k, targeting $100k. 🧵(1/2)

Quick updates on the Open Anonymity project (@OpenAnonProject)! 1. OA-chat is live! You can now signup: chat.openanonymity.ai 2. We collaborated with @ethereumfndn (@VitalikButerin, @DavideCrapis, @VittoStack, @curryrasul) to develop zkAPI, a new zero-knowledge protocol for accessing gated / paid APIs with unlinkability. It’s like a generalization of OA unlinkable inference that also abstracts payments away. Now also available on OA-chat! I'm excited because more infrastructure should exist where privacy and sovereignty is foundational and people are in control.

Buckle up 4Q looking good
Barring a spectacular crash this afternoon, SPX will have just had a +14% Q2 followed by a positive Q3. And how has Q4 been during every previous year with a similar setup?

Yes. This is correct DATs are essentially permanent holders of crypto, thus, removing supply - and in up cycle, more DATs trade above NAV buying more crypto See the virtuous cycle ?

Agree
What happened to stablecoins will happen to tokenized equities -- blockchains are unapologetically superior to TradFi's rails.

A contrarian take: Fed’s Williams expects a dovish August core PCE Wednesday 9/30 - hence, FOMC can walk back “hawkishness” = good for stocks @FundstratDirect @FundstratCap @BitMNR $BMNR $BMNP
New Fed guidance: “There is no need for urgency.” John Williams, the vice chair of the FOMC, delivers notably precise pushback in guiding against an October rate hike that has been getting priced by investors. newyorkfed.org/newsevents/sp… He lays out his base case: One more hike “may be appropriate late this year.” Following Warsh’s press conference two weeks ago, markets had pushed pricing of an October rate increase above 50% — to as high as 70% in futures markets in recent days. Here is the key passage from the NY Fed president’s prepared remarks on Tuesday afternoon: “With the policy action we took at our September meeting, there is no need for urgency, and we have time to gather more information. The accumulation of more data should provide greater clarity on the underlying trends in the economy and the associated risks to achieving our goals—and thereby the appropriate setting of monetary policy.” “If the economy evolves in a manner broadly consistent with my forecast, one further upward adjustment of the federal funds target range may be appropriate late this year to support a timelier return of inflation to target. But that is just my forecast, and time—and the totality of the data—will tell.”
