“Terrified parents have revealed they were referred to the police and social services after questioning their children’s demands to change sex. The families say they were flagged to the authorities by teachers and medical staff for ‘offences’ such as refusing to buy puberty blocker drugs, restricting internet access and failing to use the new names chosen by their children.” In the Daily Mail today ⬇️

🇦🇹 A watershed moment. The Austrian parliament held a reasoned debate on gender identity, child safeguarding and women's rights. Including a talk from a mum whose ROGD child was removed from her care. This speech from Austrian Family Minister @claudiabauer_at gives hope. Brilliant organising @AthenaForumEU @el_nagashi
@GudrunKugler @betti_reiter @EGG_OE Fotos: @ChristianHoegl

Gender ideology is still being taught in schools. “Right from kindergarten, students are told that sex is something 'assigned at birth' and that the 'rigid gender binary' is false.”

Genspect has sent a safeguarding complaint to Tusla, Ireland’s child protection and welfare agency, about the upcoming Association of Lactation Consultants in Ireland (ALCI) conference inviting Jacob Engelsman to speak. Engelsman is a breastfeeding consultant who has given talks on “lactation for kinksters” and says men can lactate for “sexual gratification.” Since receiving the complaint, ALCI has removed Engelsman from their updated conference programme.

Ego-syntonic conditions can be difficult to recognize precisely because they don’t feel unwanted to the person experiencing them. @_CryMiaRiver and @stellaomalley3 discuss what this means in the context of gender medicine. Genspect Supports the Yaeli Martinez Child Protection Act. It would bar federal child-welfare dollars from being used to punish parents for raising a child according to sex, or for protecting that child from irreversible medical harm. It would also close an interstate loophole that lets one state seize a child who has fled, or been taken, to obtain medical “transition” against a home-state parent’s wishes. The bill makes it crystal clear that it is not abuse to raise a girl as a girl or a boy as a boy, and that the machinery built to rescue battered children should never be turned against fit parents who refuse to socially or medically “transition” them. genspect.org/genspect-suppor…

🇩🇪 Hospital surgery statistics published by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany. Paul @chester_fence indicates that the sex data, which indicates more female patients are opting for genital surgery, may well be corrupted due to selfID. Source:
This data never ceases to "amaze" me. In 2005, very few people received any transition related genital surgery (120 over the whole of 🇩🇪), in 2025 it was 4,184. And the shift in the age distribution is staggering: Surgeries on 18-25 year olds were almost non-existent in the noughties, now they dominate every other age group by a large factor. (This is official data)

"hysterectomies on male patients" certainly indicates confusion, as only female patients can undergo surgical removal of a uterus.
Replying to @VeniceLaura
Just did it. There is a difference and especially in the last couple of years, there is a stronger increase among female patients. Although, I would not entirely trust the disaggregation by sex because I'm not sure whether hospital records operate under self-ID. I suspect they are because, when I look into hysterectomies separately, there are operations on "male" patients.
