The mathematicians are about to learn what PR review is
The rumors were true once again; they are sitting on multiple major announcements. Open AI announced this morning that the unnamed internal model involved with Navier-Stokes has resolved more than 100 long-standing open problems across most areas of mathematics.

Excited to announce my new startup. We’ll be selling computing software to blackmailed humans. DMs are open for term sheets
Jacob Coxon's next interview on CBS News (ex Anthropic+Open AI researcher who resigned) "We can't just unplug it because it could be copying itself over to other computers. Like it's not that difficult to find yourself because an AI is just code. It could transfer itself over the internet to a different place and then you unplug it here, but it's actually still over there and maybe it makes 10,000 copies of itself and they're all cooperating." ---- From "CBS News" YouTube channel, (full video link in comment)

We were really impressed with how fast OAI's new gpt-realtime-2.1 was while still being able to call tools, so we wired it into our OS agent running on my phone. Now I can completely control any app on my phone while I'm biking to work

"The models are plenty capable. It's not a capability issue. It's about the harness and the interface you build around them." I sat down with @hursh, co-founder of The Browser Company, at our @aiDotEngineer booth. We talked about why interfaces aren't going away, what an AI-native company actually looks like, and whether the web is dead. 0:00 Arc, Dia, and The Browser Company 1:46 Will interfaces go away? 6:07 The capability overhang 7:35 Building in New York vs SF 8:35 Running an AI-native company 11:25 Is the web dead? 14:00 AI's diffusion to the real economy

I wrote about GLM-5.2 as a window into frontier API economics. Near-frontier intelligence is getting cheaper and more commoditized, but frontier labs may still have meaningful inference margin on the last increment of quality and reliability. Link below.

Lots of solutions like these popping up these days. I’m also working on my own. Such a good time to be building software
still leaving your laptop open so the agent doesn't die? still hand-rolling tmux + ssh + notifications? still can't check on it from your phone? you don't have to. try herdr.dev

We gave our OS the ability to read documents and the results are awesome. Your phone should know what’s going on in your life and be able to help you manage the chaos. By giving our SOTA personal agent the ability to read documents like PDFs it can uncover context that’s usually lost in the noise

Sam is a combination of top integrity/ agency/ intelligence/ kindness. Truly one of the best out here! I make brownie for him and his employees every now and then because he's done so much for me! Can't wait for the world to look back on this video one day :)

People take my videos without giving me credit. So I keep giving them more. Here is @Shmall who is showing me a new AI-run mobile phone. I think his system is way more interesting than what @sama showed me in a Mexican restaurant years ago here. At the @fdotinc startup festival. Which starts in two hours. I will have a lot more to say about what Sam is building soon.

I’ll never understand why SFO, in the tech capital of the world, still requires to make you take out your laptops in security

upside of putting an agent at the os level: it can see everything downside: everything means hundreds of databases with various structures @thepapabosh used LLMs as evolutionary operators to discover the underlying semantics within the structures: wafer.systems/blog/edm
You can look at apps' private data on android, if you have root. So I've been poking around in there and some apps do some actually insane stuff. ANDROID DATABASE HALL OF SHAME (thread 🧵 )
