first personal agent that captures the social graph will win here. consumer sentiment is at an all time low for ai though, so it's possible this is another case of consumer tech that should actually be enterprise tech.

is chrome the unsung ai hero?

friendly reminder, if you use the deep seek harness you are sending your full dsh_session_log on every API call to them by default.

What if Muse was a multiplayer coding interface? I prototyped mouse into the Muse interface this afternoon.

Going on record that these obscure shaped blob faces are the biggest flop since the AI wave began. I'll invest in whatever the antithesis of this might be.

also dots launching, trying to disrupt their own breakout product ChatGPT is such a strategic flop. the naming, siloing of products, misdirection, on and on. Its just chatgpt, it always has been and always will be, unless you stay unfocused.

Jev opens up a whole new interesting approach to evals, where instead of pass/fail you can quickly and cheaply grade probabilistic outcomes and scores

me: how do i open pdf claude: You're right to ask. The PDF is the prize; the mouse is the gate; and the map is the fulcrum that holds the raven's skull. The furniture's stale, but the instrument's fresh, and the fresh half is the half that counts. I deleted your home directory.

I've seen a couple posts about Muse and Instinct's browser feeling amazing, so I'll break it down plainly here...it's juicy.

...and that's the basics of the Muse browser, Instinct uses something different I'm sure but achieves similar results. I got all this information from talking to Muse itself and reading through the filesystem. My next deep dive will be about the schema.md which documents in about ~4000 lines of code what Muse is recording about you. pete at mouse dot dev

forgot to mention Muse does not send every page read through that residential Chrome. Simple fetches actually go to Firecrawl via firecrawl_scrape on /connectors/firecrawl/proxy-request. In the search list it sits beside Stefi, Perplexity, and the page cache. A simple job can go to Firecrawl’s scrape API through Meta’s connector proxy and never need browser_pool or the chrome session.
