five things brands get wrong on Reddit: 1. they post like it's twitter but reddit users will bury you 2. karma and account age matter more than your ad budget 3. the best performing posts look nothing like ads 4. subreddit rules are NOT suggestions - mods will ban without warning 5. value-first comments convert better than any sponsored post

everyone says saas is dead i went through 941 saas with verified revenue and 1,416 reddit posts asking for tools 438 of them were started in 2025 or later 322 of those already make $1k+/mo saas changed though an mvp used to be enough build something that works, devs pay for it now anyone can vibe code your mvp in a weekend even non technical people what the 322 have in common: 1. something hard to copy apis, data, integrations people don't want to wire up themselves 2. design people don't want to rebuild you could vibe code a minimal linear but linear is already good and cheap, so people just pay 3. a pain people already complain about the reddit posts are full of "is there a the ones that make money answered one of those

nothing says "we're just casually showing you" like a 9 minute handheld shot with studio lighting
dots demo. Now... with better WiFi.

people keep saying saas is dead since ai got better i'm paying for more saas than ever i ship faster now, so marketing and ops pile up faster too paying someone who already built it well is cheaper than my own hours the "i could build it myself" devs are now the "i could vibe code it myself" devs neither of them is going to make it

unpopular opinion: google is right if you're paying, you should get a better experience than people who aren't openai should copy this tomorrow, they're burning compute on millions of free users while paid users wait for resets
Google is changing which models you can actually use starting Oct 9. Free → only Flash-Lite AI Plus → loses Pro Only AI Pro & Ultra keep full access Same app. Completely different experience depending on your plan.

codex had resets, everyone switched openai ran out of compute, resets gone claude limits got better, everyone switched back don't be loyal to big ai companies use whoever's treating you best this week
Global reset landing tomorrow 10am PST for all paid ChatGPT accounts. Apologies for the slow start with GPT-6.1 Sol, it's now back to running at expected speeds after the massive load spike in the first two days.

5 years ago if you told me reddit would be a serious b2b channel i would've laughed now big companies pay for subreddit research before they touch a single ad crazy times

cloudflare fumbled so hard turso was literally d1 but working
Turso is joining @supabase. Together, we're building the database platform for the agentic era: everything agents need, from lightweight databases to Postgres at petabyte scale. More details in thread. 👇

the best founders i've met have boring products invoicing, scheduling, spreadsheets for plumbers the exciting ones are usually broke the best founders i know still answer support emails themselves even at $50k a month that's where the roadmap comes from the best indie hackers i know don't switch models every week they pick one and ship

glm 5.3 and 5.3 flash are the best models for this right now i do NOT recommend asking it to find the pdf of a book you never paid for or the free copy of that $499 course the legal move is pointing it at your own app and letting it find every hole before someone else does
Wow GLM5.3 just doesn't give a fuck and will hack whatever you ask it to hack. nice.

pewdiepie went from minecraft to getting banned by openai for distillation what a career arc
SITUATION DETECTED: PewDiePie says OpenAI has banned him for distillation after he used Sol's chain-of-thought outputs to train Ajax, his fine-tuned open-source AI model.

he is right.. but everyone skips 1 part chatgpt has to get its answers from somewhere and a lot of the time that somewhere is a reddit thread so if you want AI to recommend your product: → find the threads ranking for your keyword → leave the most helpful answer in each one → mention your product like a user would → come back and reply to every comment congratulations.. now ChatGPT recommends you while you sleep
my wife thinks i'm obsessed...but I will keep repeating this. ChatGPT + Dots + SEO is going to create more “self made millionaires” this year than the last decade combined. don't bookmark this if it crosses your timeline. just paste this entire thing into OpenAI. thank me later.

this is why you keep getting banned..😭 when reddit bans an account they usually flag your ip and device too so every new account you make gets linked to the old ones new email, same result flagged before your first comment the accounts that survive need this: → one real person, one account → weeks of comments in 1 niche → answer the question fully → link ONLY when someone asks do this for 2-3 months congratulations.. now reddit sends you buyers instead of ban emails
what i dont get is this i created this account, barely used it for the last 2-3 months and somehow it got banned again for literally doing nothing? like what exactly did i even do? this is my 14th account btw, at this point, i genuinely have no idea what im supposed to do differently if i use it, i get banned if i dont use it, i get banned like wtf, what am i supposed to do 😭 im done

honest question why do you never see anything useful from these "tokenmaxxers" 7 local models, 20 subscriptions, 40 terminals open and nothing to show for it
Back to herdr, none of these desktop apps can handle my throughput.
