$INTC Intel bullish case 🐂 for FY25 and FY26. The potential for growth in Intel’s stock, catalyzed by the foundry network enhancement / investment in manufacturing capacity, presents an undervalued opportunity for substantial market capitalization expansion. This growth potential, estimated to increase Intel’s market capitalization by at least 30%, is further bolstered by the regulatory policy changes anticipated by the Trump administration next year. Year-over-year earnings growth anticipated to surpass 200% due to the company’s substantial production plans, the conclusion of its high-investment phase, and the implementation of in-house manufacturing strategies that will lead to cost reductions. Elon Musk confirms that if $TSM contributes to Terafab, it will be supplemental to $INTC Intel. Intel is still primary partner for Terafab. Capacity is constrained. Intel owns US IP and will license their technology to $SPCX / $TSLA. Elon wants all the help he can get. This amount of compute requires immense levels of collaboration, and likely this would help them accomplish the goal.

back to regularly scheduled programming we move on execute Long. Live. Intel.
When there's alot of a external noise. Best to tune it out and focus on your own execution. I have faith that Lip-Bu is making the best decisions for long term shareholders. If you don't then sell the stock and move on. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to point out that none of the Terafab related engagement for Intel was remotely priced into the stock anyway. As an investor, Intel's story is now. And Terafab was not remotely a reason the stock went up or deserved to go up. Intel is (to the market) a strong CPU story, hence the limited re-rating we did get. But, Foundry is a story more than what Terafab will be for Intel. Don't forget who has engaged with Intel. The likes of Apple, Google, Nvidia, and Amazon. Terafab is an overly hyped up project that won't prove returns for many years. That is not the story. In my honest opinion, I don't think Intel was to do more than be a consultant and simply a licensing partner. That is all. In providing capacity, if Elon wants to leverage TSM, so be it. Then let them do everything. Intel should not (and I don't use this word lightly) WASTE capital on Terafab. Focus on ASICs, focus on margins, focus on delivering your chips built on 18A.

You chose Intel to maintain US IP. Discussing with TSM tells me where your vices stand. If this is a capacity issue, then I can understand. Supply, strategy, packaging. Not sure exactly what you even want out of them. But, if this means a shift from the vision in the first place, then it is sad. It also means this goal of yours to fab chips in the US will never be true. We will always stay reliant on TSM and Taiwan. Congrats TSM. You are ruthless and relentless. You have managed to do everything for everyone, everywhere, all at once. It is incredible. Maybe I am biased and blinded by the hope that Intel can execute. Maybe I will continue to cope. This is utterly disappointing. Congrats, Elon. You overpromised and under-delivered. Again.

The TSMC Terafab rumor is 100% illogical for implying TSMC would be welcomed. Basically the antithesis of the core vertically integrated American semiconductor stack. TSMC is extremely rigid and refused to bring a leading edge node to the US over a decade. A coercive unaligned foreign interest would do nothing but harm as well. Semiconductor companies usually prefer being located together in a host country; that is basically the jist of the whole story; @tculpan should stop posting his AI FinFiction. @SpaceX @SpaceXAI @elonmusk should immediately put out a statement and deny this rumor clearly designed to attack their project partner @intel $INTC $TSM $SPCX @intelfabs (unaffiliated) brings up an extremely valid point:
Blatantly fake and gay TSMCwan propaganda. " $TSM sees a path" these fucking losers can't take the hint that Americans want American semiconductors. Elon Musk was quoting Andy Grove months before Intel was even brought along. It isn't happening. TSMC will not be involved in Terafab. $TSM is feeling threatened by $INTC 14A being very tightly competitive according to new reports, despite fake leakers like @Taog_1575 posting convincing lies for weeks in advance. Intel will be much more efficient in manufacture with deeper High NA EUV experience, 12 inch photo masks, more mature BSPDN, GAAT, and orders of magnitude better packaging in the form of EMIB costs, yield, and reticle size.

I think the story is bs Couple things are funny. Most of the people hired for TeraFab so far are Intel folks. So you have to believe that Intel's management have lost interest in the project. Not that former coworkers can't work together lol. But, both Lip-Bu and Pushkar have talked about their relationship as strong with Elon in last couple months. So this has to have happened recently. Taiwan regards their process technology as a national secret. Culpium says that TSMC would run TeraFab and SpaceX would get an equity stake which is worse than anything Intel was offering. Because TSMC can't license leading edge recipes. This would be a TSMC fab, not a SpaceX one. Intel was offering a process license.
Culpium: TSMC is looking to participate in Terafab. Culpium: Recent rumors of TSMC expanding into Texas are tied to efforts to support Terafab. Culpium: Collaboration with Intel on Terafab is not making progress.

$INTC Intel's EVP of Intel Foundry and ex-CEO of $SKHY SK Hynix, Seok-Hee Lee, completed 100 days at Intel today. CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, brought him to Intel back in June as EVP of Intel Foundry, reporting directly to the CEO. His job is advanced packaging, system integration, and back-end manufacturing. The mandate he restated today is the ramp of EMIB-T and hybrid bonding. In the first 100 days he was in Arizona on next-generation packaging R&D, in Malaysia with Foundry leadership at Pelican, the new packaging plant, and in Oregon on the hybrid bonding line. New Mexico and Vietnam are next. Packaging is now a separate line under someone who has run a memory company at scale, not a side process under front-end. Naga Chandrasekaran stays on 18A and 14A. Lee owns the back end. On memory, nothing is signed but the roadmap hope is there. Lee was CEO of SK hynix and led its HBM buildout, and the Intel NAND deal that became Solidigm. Korean reports in August said SK hynix is looking at Intel for the HBM base die, to take some of that work off TSMC. Tan has said Intel is exploring ways to integrate compute and memory. A partnership is still a rumor, yet it is also the obvious one.
