Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t a dig at AI. The quality of open-source contributions had been declining long before AI. AI just accelerated it, while also making PR spam dramatically worse.
I use AI extensively myself. It simply makes no sense for me to spend time reviewing and going back and forth on a low-quality PR when I can generate, verify, and ship the fix myself 10× faster.
This is ultimately about optimizing my time.

Chats, tasks, and schedules now have more room in Agent. Open full-page conversations or resize the panel to review work alongside your current page. We also made Kubernetes history lighter to browse and catch setup issues before deployment runs.

Since @bot came out I have been wanting to sink my teeth into how #AI agents communicate and work with each other as my long term goal is to use these for work, #opensource, and more.
So the project I started was to have a team of @bot agents build and re-imagine what rust boy would look like now.
Back in the day there was a really amazing short film called Rust Boy (rustboy.com) that was made by a person in the UK back when Pixar and other animation studios needed huge machine farms this person was doing it on their computer at home which I loved.
