It was just two days ago that I reminded us about what a wife is most likely to do when she has been caught in infidelity. Now this is another example. He even forgave her, and what did she do? She turned their four children against him and he hasn't seen children for 12 years. For some of you that have a bad relationship with your father, you need to think deep and think back. It's easy to remember how loving he was when you were still little. Question you should be asking yourself is this: "What changed? Does this man truly hate me, or I decided to hate him because of what mommy has been saying about him?" If only this man was wise enough at the time, he should have known that a cheating woman that has been caught is a dangerous woman. And he would have thwarted the Canadian move. Now, he has been jobless for many years, stranded, no family, and abandoned to rot by the wife he married, and the children he loved. Simply because she lost her shield and felt vulnerable, then she turned to their children for protection and pity. AJD.
Despite pardoning her infidelity, My Wife Blocked Me upon getting To Canada With Our 4 Children ahead of me after I resigned when our PR application was approved — Banker Francis Ushie Former retail banker, Mr Francis Ushie, has shared how he became stranded in Nigeria after his wife allegedly blocked him from locating her and their four children following their relocation to Canada. “I was married to a lady from Obuloku in Delta state and somehow family issues happen we had a little misunderstanding on infidelity on her own part which I think anybody can be in that problem so I decided that okay maybe when we leave this environment that maybe things will be better for us” Ushie said the couple had experienced marital issues, including alleged inf+delity, and he hoped relocating would help improve their relationship. According to him, he voluntarily resigned from his banking job after their Canadian permanent residency was approved. His wife and their four children travelled ahead of him, while he remained in Nigeria for almost a year because the bank needed to audit his position. He said that when he eventually travelled to Canada in November 2014, his wife allegedly refused to give him their address. “Unfortunately when my wife got there she blocked me and didn’t give me the address where she was staying… I was stranded at the airport. That’s airport in Canada, that’s Alberta Calgary,” he said. Ushie eventually returned to Nigeria on his return ticket, but said he delayed going back to Canada while pursuing compensation from the Lagos State Government over a demolished house and waiting for funds from his business. He said he has remained stranded in Nigeria since 2016 and has spent about 11 to 12 years without his family, describing himself as a refugee with no companion. Ushie said he remains willing to reconcile with his wife but claimed she has also stopped their children from communicating with him. Appealing to his children, he defended his role as their father, saying he paid for their passports, flights and two years’ rent abroad. “So please my children, I am a very very responsible father,” he said.

If you know that you're a feminist, please stay away from my posts when you see them. I don't like you people and I don't want to engage with you here. You guys irritate me. Better still, block your father and have sanity. AJD.

He has finally replied.
A young man was in my DM this morning to tell me about his female "friend". He said she's a 27-year-old woman has been with the same man for eight years. The boyfriend is 35, lives in Osogbo, and she lives in Akure. According to him, he barely gives her attention and almost never shows up for her. They are not in an open relationship, and he does not know she has been seeing other men. In those eight years she has had at least five other boyfriends. There is also a man in Ibadan she describes as a long-distance thing. Some of those men treated her better than the one she has stayed with for 8 years. He was not even her first. Her family background is messy in a familiar way. Her father got her mother pregnant while he was already married to someone else. Her mother later remarried and had three children with the stepfather. Her father has other children too. She has lived with both parents at different times, and is currently with her mother, and has not spoken to her father in two years. She still keeps the Osogbo relationship anyway. So he then asked me: "Why do some people stay attached for years to someone who barely shows up, even after meeting others who treated them better?" I then asked him: What is your interest in this lady? He hasn't replied me yet. Do you all want to discuss this post, or you're waiting like me for it to be evening so you can go out to go have a nice time with some drinks and isiewu? AJD.

My wife and I share similar background. In fact, her father was richer than mine. We understood each other and could relate to similar life experiences. Our wedding was modest and largely funded by me. The car that we used was from one of her sisters' husband (an SUV). I was driving a 1999 Camry 😂. So man gats shine small. But the truth is that, she was there with me and for me right from the beginning. She's even the last born. So her family never depended on me for anything. Instead, they looked for ways to support the young us. The shoe that I wore was bought for me by my elder brother. Her wedding gown was sewn by one of her sisters. It wasn't a wedding where you would attend, and be able to easily spot the difference between the two families. We had a gracious celebration, they blessed us, wished us well and I carried on from there. Nobody can accuse her or suspect her of coming to marry for money. Because there was none. Till date, she still has her respect from my family. And vice versa. AJD.

I have said it to ladies before if your father is not rich or any of your brothers do not marry a rich man but they will not listen... A lady I know said that her happiness is when she comes to the market ,her husband is so rich and she's from a poor home .

You know that she's in a serious relationship. But she sometimes comes to you to do "Netflix and chill". She tells you stuff, and comes to cry on your shoulders. Instead make you collect your share and be minding your business, you dey go fall in love. Ọdẹ burúkú. AJD.

It will be hard to take this advice cos rich men are seen as saviors of the family & the daughter will be a tool for poverty alleviation. How do you summon such a man when there is a dispute? Who will save you when he becomes abusive? Money is but a big trap He can provide everything & will not allow her own anything or put anything in her hand but she’ll be living very comfortably.
If you look at your family background, your father's societal status, your siblings and their financial strength. And you compare it with that of the man who says that he wants to marry you. If the man's own is way above yours, please you may wish not to get married to him. Otherwise, you may become his sex toy, and the sacrificial lamb of your family. You'll be crying in a Benz but the world will think that you're happy. If you confide in your parents over what you're going through, they'll be powerless and may not be able to call your husband to order, or even counsel him. You'll hardly travel to go see your parents, neither can they even visit you to see their grandchildren. Unless with the express approval of your husband and he'll give you limited time under close monitoring. Everything will be made available to you: cars, maid, beautiful house, secured environment, etc. But you'll be lonely. You'll hardly have your friends visit you. It's only social media that they'll be seeing your lifestyle and assume that you're in "heaven". But only you and your immediate family know what you're really passing through in that marriage. And if you say that you're tired and you want out of that marriage, you'll never find it easy. The man and his family will torment your life. You may not even be able to see your children until you return back to him. That's the price you may have to pay when you do not build with a man, and you just want to run away from your poverty into wealth. AJD.

Very valid. But they will never listen. This applies to men who marry into a family bigger than theirs. You will stomach a lot of shit because you cannot treat your wife’s fuck up without consequences.
