I've been working on a new project lately.
I wanted to fix something that's been annoying me for a while now.
You know, cron jobs that quietly stop working, and nobody finds out until something downstream just breaks? Yeah, that sucks.
So I built CronWatch. It's open source job monitoring that lives inside your app.
No server to run, no account to make, and more importantly, no third party holding your data.
It records every run in your own database and tells you when a job is missed, fails, gets stuck, runs slow or costs too much, with the error and the last lines of output right there in the alert.
There's a dashboard, an MCP server so your agent can ask what broke, and it works with TypeScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, Go, Rust, Elixir, Java, .NET, and a bunch of CMS platforms.
Of course it's MIT licensed, wouldn't have it any other way.
