did Pumpfun pay out $15,000,000 to the right traders?
we announced Callout Rewards 2 months ago as part of our vision to make Pumpfun the most rewarding trading platform.
however, Callout Rewards V1 inadvertently rewarded the wrong behavior, which led to low quality spam & a reluctance to produce quality content
we later updated the reward algorithm to favor quality over quantity, meaning the more you callout each day, the more diminished your returns are, similarly to other social media platforms
I'm confident that we're heading in the right direction with each iteration, but as with any incentive program as lucrative as this, there's a lot of work we need to do to incentivize quality content that's scalable to the masses.
so far, we've rewarded everyone from the biggest accounts to accounts with <10 followers. no favoritism, no preferential treatment. completely equal opportunities for all.
the alpha is this: focus on calling out good tokens > traders begin to trust your callouts > they trade based on your confluence > you get rewarded for volume attributed to your callout
spamming callouts will not work. dumping on followers will not work.
the best time to start was 2 months ago. the next best time is now.

actually believe that the meme:meme pairings are going to be some of the most aggressive catalysts for rerating pump coins, there are so many coins that launch daily, & the serial deployers are usually same cohort of long term holders of pump coins

just shipped a neet little page to track all custom pairs & holder rewards on Pumpfun since we've been seeing so many interesting examples of custom pairings on pump
memes paired with memes are some of the more interesting examples we've seen - not only do memes:memes introduce a new dimension to onchain speculation, they also *massively* benefit the underlying token
derivatives have long been controversial due to them detracting from the OG token's momentum, however, the demand from traders to trade new & interesting tokens is undeniable
with custom meme pairings, derivatives feed directly into the underlying token's success; firstly by routing every single buy through the OG, and secondly by rewarding holders of the derivative with the OG token
