cannot praise this enough. @kinngh & team deserve all the love from the ecosystem for events. the headline number is way fewer payloads to process. and that in itself is a big deal. you don’t often hear 90% reductions. but the bigger thing for us is reduced costs in building products for merchants. 3 years ago, we swallowed the red pill of building cheap but great software to scale up (and it’s paid off; nearly every major brand hopping onto Shopify runs @StoqApp for preorders) and Events helps us continue delivering that. in plain english: our server costs are projected to be down ~50% this month. and we’re going to extend that benefit to merchants by spending it on new apps, built with the same philosophy as STOQ. thanks for setting us up for a banger 2027, guys!
