every AAA game studio exec right now
Jaden Williams
Every game ever put on a cartridge, disc, or download will get decompiled, modded, and ported with AI. If one dev and four Claude agents can decompile most of CoD MW2 (2009) in under a month, and Halo Combat Evolved (2001) is already running on browsers, phones, Macs, and Nintendo 3DS days after its decomp, AAA teams should be a bit scared. Fans won’t need to wait for remasters anymore. Studios can and will send DMCAs, but they won't outpace the frontier models being shipped. Open source gaming is here. Ready Player One's closer than we think.

the reason personal agents are so interesting is that they aggregate attention like facebook but they also aggregate intent like google. if they work they would be google & facebook together in one product which would be the ultimate aggregator on the fucking planet. no to mention the ambient context they generate. i.e. they hold a continuously updating model of you generated from your messages, calendar, location, purchases, health, relationships, habits, work, & everything else you do. in the previous era this context was generated implicitly, now ppl hand it over. that’s why the category is potentially worth multiple trillions. if not even more than that.

Most people copy viral posts. I study the psychology behind them. If a post hits, my Grok Bot names the frameworks behind it: curiosity gaps, status threat, identity signaling, etc. Save it, or ignore it at your own peril.
I made a Grok Bot that tells you why that 𝕏 post performed. You send it a link to a post. It returns an analysis brief card: → Finds the hook → Explains why it works → Names the psychological patterns → Maps the logical structure → Marks if it’s worth studying It doesn’t write for you. It teaches you how to write better. Link below 👇

If I ran a game studio, I wouldn't send out DMCAs. I'd be shipping SDKs. AI will decompile all the games. The only choice left is whether it happens with you or around you. Open source the code for anything older than a few years. Worried about piracy? id Software did this with Doom in 1997. It still runs on everything and people still buy it. Let the fans port your iconic gaming classics using assets from copies they purchased. You keep selling the game without paying for a remaster. Give modders a storefront and revenue share. Hire the best ones. Sega did that for Sonic Mania and got one of the best reviewed Sonic games of all time. Valve let Black Mesa sell on Steam. Fans get remasters sooner. Studios get to focus on shipping what's next, and IPs keep a community that's willing to pay for it. Fight your fans or fund them. Your move.

If you want to trigger OpenAI fanatics, just tell them Claude Opus 5.5 & Sonnet 5.5 are both better than GPT-6.1 Sol.

I asked Sonnet 5.5 on Low effort for a "mind blowing" animation of its mascot. This is a few minutes later... WTF is Anthropic feeding their models bros? It rains pixels into 4 Clawds, splits them into 94, and builds a giant Clawd out of itself. Every pixel is also Claude. 52 seconds of pixel art animation and it loops perfectly. Made by a single prompt, no Blender, and all in code. Prompt below. Try it out yourself.

Jeff Dean, Sholto Douglas, Dwarkesh and Naveen Rao just angeled into the same optics chip startup. These are the people who know their shit. Nobody this close to frontier AI angels a BS hype round. Memory's the next AI bottleneck. GPUs spend their time waiting on it.
Excited to announce Volantis's $88M Series A. We are solving Al's memory bottleneck by using optics, enabling chips with huge amounts of fast & cheap memory. By boosting both the memory bandwidth and capacity per chip by orders of magnitude, we enable ultra-fast inference (up to 10,000 tps/user) for large models (>10T) - with low $/tok to boot. Initially, this will enable insanely fast agents - think coding agents that finish in minutes or even seconds instead of hours. More excitingly, optics is a fundamentally scalable way to increase memory systems. Not 2X/year, but by orders of magnitude across new generations. This will enable a structurally new Al industry, including restarting scaling laws, holding entire repos in context windows & more. Our team has pioneered many core semiconductor technologies: the 1st CoWoS product, early HBM, the 1st silicon photonics CPO systems, the 1st high volume tunable VCSELs, the 1st processors to directly communicate using light & more. We’ve already sent data >10× farther than equally tiny electrical wires inside a chip package. Our next iteration is already taped out and targets world-record bandwidth density over relevant distances, read more: volantissemi.ai/news-insight…

Made this with (maybe) Fable 5.5! I used xhigh on the claude.ai website, fable answered the tibo question correctly, so its probably 5.5.
