Politicians against freedom. This isn't new.
Why is Emmanual Macron afraid of Free Speech what has it done to piss him off? Is he afraid of being insulted or corrected? Maybe if he was a lot nicer that wouldn't happen you can't restrict Free Speech and your control is an illusion just like Jurassic Park.

GrapheneOS recently added a polished, modern version of their SMS app with RCS support. This guy asked me why the app isn't available in Private Space. I don't have it either. Did @GrapheneOS do it on purpose, or did they forget it?
Replying to @linuxuser1996
@linuxuser1996 Why is there no SMS app in Private Space?

They will redesign the best designs, making them worse, while the ugliest logos will be kept as they are.
These need to be redesigned

Your phone, their dictatorship. Broke the lock; Jailbreak, crack, pirate, get your freedom back.
This is why democracies can't stay silent on Apple & Google's App Store chokehold. Let people install apps from anywhere!

Governments are fucked
REMINDER: bitchat is now capable of sending itself to another Android phone with no internet, AppleStore or PlayStore required. With the updated bitchat app on your phone. You can share the app using NearbyShare or simply turn on your WiFi hotspot, share the APK file over HTTP

The funniest thing about this is that there's no way to ban it completely.
bitchat blocks in India: - Apple App Store - Google Play Store - the bitchat website users can still access the code and download the apk to run it on their phones. bitchat for android also allows you to share the app with other phones without internet.

Fuck to them. Piracy is great.
The music industry has asked the EU to add yt-dlp, an open source video downloader, to its Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List. IFPI's submission even names the volunteer developers who maintain it. It also wants Cloudflare, GoDaddy and Verisign on the list, because apparently the company running .com is now a piracy concern. LaLiga has gone after NordVPN, ProtonVPN, ExpressVPN and Surfshark over affiliate blogs it never names or links to. A Spanish court already threw out its last attempt to fine NordVPN. The Commission insists the list makes no findings of legal violations. It just tells the world which lawful tools the entertainment industry would like to see gone... reclaimthenet.org/eu-piracy-…

A federal judge just called a Flock search what it is. Tulsa County. A deputy ran a plate in Flock because it was from California. No traffic stop reason on the record. The search pulled more than 50 location hits across a month. He used that travel history to search the car. Judge Sara Hill threw the Flock hits out, and everything that came after them. She wrote that this is indiscriminate mass surveillance. The cameras log every car that passes. Police can pull the history later, for any reason. This is one ruling. It is not national law yet. Flock already said it expects an appeal. A California plate was the reason. The camera network was the search. The warrant never showed up.

Someone is fucked (and probably gets fucked often).
🚨 #BREAKING: Federal judge rules Flock's camera network violates 4th Amendment rights, accusing the company of building an "indiscriminate mass surveillance" network.
