looks like they solved it. besides the fact that it reduced my head size by 20% at the 26th iteration and slowly made me fatter, everything else was almost intact. my tattoos are also a bit faded on the 100th edit, but no one in their right mind should be doing that many edits. very cool.
Introducing Ideogram 4.5, the most precise edit model. With each edit, leading models add artifacts, pixel shifts, and color changes. Ideogram 4.5 eliminates artifact buildup, making multi-turn editing possible. Live in Ideogram, the API, and launch partners. Open weights soon.

This for me is both extremely impressive as a technical feat and extremely misguided as a moral one / ethical one. AI should not be allowed to be presented as human in any way. Not given human names, not given human appearance as UI. That illusion carries societal risk
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker. It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all. Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call. I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.

I want my context to live in a cloud that all my AIs can access. With my permission, it could ask each AI what it knows about me and bring that together. I shouldn’t have to keep introducing myself, my projects, and my goals every time I use a different AI.

I keep losing my place with my AI workflow. I need to just have an idea, say it, move on to the next and then get pinged when I need to give more context, approve or decline.

I keep going back and forth between ChatGPT and Codex trying to find my chats. It’d be nice to have them open as tabs in one place. Each tab could be a ChatGPT or Codex conversation, and I could name it after what I’m working on. @OpenAI @OpenAIDevs

ChatGPT and Codex need to know when to tap you on the shoulder. I had work waiting on my approval and never saw a desktop notification. “Hey Maada, that thing you asked for is ready. Just need your approval.” @OpenAI this is a small interaction that would make a huge difference.

Thanks to @DarrelFrater and @j168k for the conversation. I’m building The Place for Care to help people access care. I’d love to connect with people in healthcare, Medicaid, behavioral health, or the DC/Maryland area. theplaceforcare.ai

The world has a weird relationship with exceptional people. Admire them from a distance, but never let them become too aware of their own excellence.
