I will of course still be hanging about the ecosystem, fashioning a new role for myself as chief encouragement officer, chief enthusiasm officer, and chief evangelizing officer :). Thank you so much to everyone in our community - the amazing team at AF, our builders, our hodlers, our partners, and all of our other supporters. I'll be forever grateful to all of you.
I also want to say a couple of things about the search, which we did with care, over the course of several months. While it was clear to everyone that William was the top candidate, by far, I was also very heartened by the range and quality of candidates that were interested in the role. That we could attract so many incredibly experienced and high caliber candidates speaks volumes about the quality of the Algorand blockchain, the dynamism of the Algorand ecosystem and, most importantly, the promise of the future of Algorand.
