I'm going to share some things with you all so if you don't want to read a wall of text, skip this tweet.. Voultar is a persona who has; Repaired electronics, designed electronics, and has educated people about electronics for well over a decade. Over the course of a decade, I've been able to touch literally millions of people and help them realize their own goals, and it's been my greatest pleasure and honor. But people, there's a darker side to this world of "modding" and "retro" that not a lot of you are exposed to. There are lot of opportunists out there who are simply looking to just make a few bucks while taking people for a ride. I've seen companies come and go in our little circle.. I've seen people who you thought were trustworthy, turn out to be lying, back-biting bitches.. That's just life. I've spent the past 10 years speaking up against these so-called "shitheads" and there have been so many times I've been offered crazy sums of money among other incentives to just "go along" with things. Voultar is a persona; A caricature of myself in the extreme sense. But one thing I will never be, in my personal life or in my public identity is a shill. I'll never sell out and be dishonest about a product and not tell the truth just to make a few bucks. I'd rather be poor than cheat any of you. The EON XBHD is a $189 Component to HDMI adapter that can't even get the IRE/colorspace correct. To the vendors who are actually selling these, shame on you. Seriously, shame on you people. You're not selling "convenience" devices. You're taking your customers for a ride by not even understanding the products that you're selling. This is wrong. It's completely wrong. How can you take money for a product that you, yourself haven't even properly tested? Anyone, and I mean anyone who has half a brain would see that this $200 shitbox has no business being exchanged for the hard-earned money of your customers.. Do you all not respect them? Thanks so much to the honest reviewers. People like @ModernVintageG (credit to him also for the comparison picture) and to @machonachomedia for providing a fair showing. Honestly? I'm just exhausted by all of this and quite frankly, I'm burned completely out. You all see just the veneer of what it's like to be in the middle of all of this stuff. It's really hard dealing with vampires, all day long.. Sorry for the disheveled rant, I spoke my peace and that's all I can do. I'll see you all later.
