Built ArtSoul OS, one bot for a whole Discord server. Also building @ArtSoulProtocol on Base: demand first, mint after.

Building on Base
Most serious Discord servers are held together by a pile of bots. Different dashboards. Different logins. Different permission sets. And Administrator given out just to make it all work. ArtSoul OS is one layer instead. Levels that actually grant roles. Giveaways, quizzes, last-one-standing battles. Captcha + anti-raid. A full role and channel builder from the browser. Templates you can install or pull out in one click. No Administrator permission. Message content never stored. Verified Discord app. Free tier is there. Premium can be paid by card or crypto. This is the kind of tool server owners usually find after wasting months stitching six apps together. artsoul-os.com

One thing? A real Codex Control Center. One place that gives users continuity, transparency and direct feedback instead of leaving us guessing. I’d want it to include: 1. Usage transparency Click the usage meter and see exactly where your limits went: → which model/session consumed it → how much each task used → context/tool usage → retries or long-running work → estimated reasons why that run was expensive → suggestions for doing the same work with less quota Right now I can have one serious Pro session consume a huge part of my weekly allowance, but I have almost no way to understand why. 2. Automatic checkpoint before limits run out When only ~3–5% remains, Codex should automatically create a full project checkpoint: → current task/state → what was already completed → remaining work → important decisions → relevant files/context → next exact step Then, when the limit resets, I should be able to press Continue and Codex resumes from exactly where it stopped instead of rebuilding the context from scratch. 3. “Report this run” + two-way support If something seems wrong, let me attach the affected run/chat, screenshots, logs, timestamps and optionally account/org information. OpenAI could inspect the actual session and answer in the same thread. Not just “Send feedback” into a black box — actual two-way diagnostics. 4. Codex should ask when product intent is ambiguous This is especially important when building UI. If I say “add this feature,” Codex shouldn’t randomly decide where the button goes, how users discover it, or what the UX should be. Ask me: “Where should users access this?” Or even better, propose 2–3 options: A — in the sidebar B — inside Settings C — contextual button on the relevant page Then let me choose before implementation. Codex is extremely good at building software. The next step IMO is making it better at preserving intent, explaining its resource usage, and building software for the end user — not just for the developer talking to it. That would be a huge upgrade.
What’s one thing that’s missing in codex that you wish we had?

Six bots on one Discord server is not a tooling problem. It is six logins. Six failure modes. Six apps that wanted Administrator. ArtSoul OS is the layer under that. One bot. One dashboard. It can only touch roles below its own. Anti-raid does not ban on its own. The model that wrote the handler can be swapped. The permission boundary should not. Where did you last give a tool more access than the job needed?

Codex needs a support thread inside the run. Not a feedback form that goes nowhere. I am on the $100 Pro plan. Two or three real tasks can eat the model I paid for. One run is about an hour or two. Then the useful quota is gone until the weekly reset. I am fine with limits. I am not fine with no counter that explains the burn, and no one to ask. A Report this run button. Attach the chat, the session, a screenshot, the time. Someone on the other side can look and reply in the same thread. If the burn was normal, say so. If the run died and still charged the quota, that is the bug. Would you use that, or do you already have a way to get a real answer?

Been wiring ChatGPT to the browser I already have open. ChatGPT to a private GitHub relay. Relay to a Windows gateway. Gateway to Chrome. Chrome to the page. Relay is connected. The right conversation opened. A live snapshot came back. The composer was found for the next step. No model API. No debug port. The model can change. The local gate should not. What is the one tool you still drive by hand because the agent is not allowed to touch it?

Most chains add the rules after the trade. Rialo is building so the rule is there when it settles. Quiet week. Same bet. @RialoHQ

That’s why I love Claude. It really produces good designs—even the older models, provided you train them well to create excellent designs!
For two weeks, start a design, deck, or doc in the Claude app, and the work that follows in that conversation uses 50% less of your usage limits. Give it a try with Claude Sonnet 5.5. It has a strong eye for design and builds slides that need minimal editing.
Community note
The post says work after starting a design/deck/doc "uses 50% less of your usage limits," but terms specify the discount applies only to the five-hour session limit and does not change the weekly usage limit. support.claude.com/en/articles/17…

Two AI providers can be degraded at the same time for completely different reasons. @OpenAI is monitoring elevated API latency and errors in ChatGPT Space Pages. Claude currently has degraded API and Console performance tied to delayed credit balance updates. Builder takeaway: failover needs to be dependency-level, not just “switch providers.”

Five years of relief for tokenized securities is a start. The hard part is showing each condition was met at the moment the trade closed. That is what Subzero keeps pointing at. That is what Rialo is supposed to hold. @RialoHQ

Same headline API price. Different caching economics. GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5.5 are both $2 input and $10 output per 1M tokens. Cached input is $0.10 on Sol. Claude cache reads are $0.20. For agents, benchmark the workflow, not just the rate card.

OpenAI's Pro lineup is no longer one simple ladder. Pro 100 and Pro 200 can use credits to extend usage. They still do not include Astra Ultrafast. Pro 500 is the tier that includes Astra Ultrafast in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Builder takeaway: capacity and speed tier access are now separate decisions. help.openai.com/en/articles/…

Yesterday I got a free usage-limit reset on my $100 ChatGPT plan. Less than 24 hours later, my Usage page is back to 0% weekly limit left and 0 credits remaining. For heavy builder workflows, model quality is only half the product. Predictable capacity matters too.

OpenAI DevDay did not feel like a normal model event. The biggest signal for me was not just a stronger model. It was the shift in workflow. GPT-6 Sol is now in Work and Codex. And Codex keeps moving from a coding helper toward a real build layer. That matters. We are getting closer to a world where the model is only one part of the stack. The bigger edge will come from designing better loops around it. Prompt. Build. Review. Iterate. That is the part I would pay attention to most. help.openai.com/en/articles/…

This version is dumber than Sol 5; it does things it wasn't asked to do.

Context windows are starting to look less useful as a headline metric. GPT-5.6 Terra: 1.05M context, 128K output. Claude Sonnet 5.5: 1M context, 128K output. For agent work, I care more about tool integration and cost per finished task than the last 50K tokens.

A failed AI coding run does not mean your repo is broken. Anthropic's Sep 29 update at 14:41 UTC says errors have dropped, but some Claude Code sessions still fail. My takeaway: check provider status before changing code. Inspect the diff before retrying an interrupted run. status.claude.com/

GPT-5.6 Terra and Claude Sonnet 5.5 both offer roughly 1M context and 128K max output in the API. My next question: what do I need to wire up for search, code execution and computer use? I'd compare the whole agent workflow. Not just the context window.

Sonnet 5.5 keeps Sonnet 5's API token prices. Anthropic reports up to 30% lower cost per task from fewer tokens. Their tests, not mine. My takeaway: compare cost per finished task, not just token prices. anthropic.com/claude-sonnet-…
