The first COVID stimulus check was $1,200. At the time, that bought ~0.18 BTC. The proposed check is $5,000. Today, that buys only ~0.06 BTC. More than 4x the dollars per check, yet roughly 1/3 as much Bitcoin. You are running out of time.
BREAKING: Trump now says his $5,000 "Trump Dividend" would go to every U.S. citizen if Republicans win the midterms. On September 9, he promised it to "every adult citizen." With 316 million citizens, that is $1.58 trillion.

Maybe part of God's mercy is that He doesn't show us just how wicked we really are all at once bc it would crush us. Instead, He reveals it bit by bit as He chisels us into His image. Some days I still think I'm a pretty decent guy, but its much more likely I just have scales He hasn't removed yet.

Ok not saying this because the lyrics are derived from my quotes, but because I genuinely feel this way. Holy shit this song is a banger. I listened to it 3 times already.

You will make disposable games imo - just for you and your friends for one night or a weekend etc.
Let's imagine a situation a few years from now: - AI is cheap and fast. - A prompt like: "Make a cool 20-hour platformer about a brave ant" generates a complete, genuinely fun game with great mechanics. - Everything works perfectly. - The art, SFX, and code are better than anything you could make yourself. Would you still make games ?

World of Warcraft 1.12.1 (2006 Version of the game) has been FULLY rewritten in Bevy/Rust. Sure this means we can now skate around in Goldshire, but also this means that private servers can now start a server with a fully modernised client legally. WoW Forever is done for...
Community note
benilla is a from-scratch WoW 1.12.1 client reimplementation requiring data from a user's own legal install; it does not make private servers legal, which Blizzard has sued for copyright infringement. github.com/samwhosung/ben… gamesindustry.biz/blizzard-sues-… legalclarity.org/are-world-of-w…

Building my own tool (as I'm sure many are) for all things media creation running on the 5090. Image, video, audio, motion graphics/captions etc. Any time I come across a new technique or model or something on X, I send it to my agent, they add as a feature in a really user friendly way. So cool to be able to run all of this at the cost of electricity.

Protip if you use wispr flow. Bind mouse button 4 to talk, and mouse button 5 to replace enter/submit. Feels like spellcasting. or maybe i'm just going crazy waiting for WoW forever.

who is on top in the AI space changes so fast no wonder the average person can’t keep up.

This kind of thing is just 🤌 When an agent hits a roadblock, and then finds the next best solution on its own instead of just coming back with nothing.

Cloud intelligence rug is being pulled. Got sovereign compute anon?
Hi, Tomorrow we are re-opening the Pro $200 subscriptions to new subscribers, but together with it we are also changing how we calculate the usage for it. In effect, if you do the math, it will net out at half the dollar in API spend compared to the old Pro $200 plan. Now that it's said, let me explain why this is happening and why you will still get more work done than if you were on the Pro $200 subscription one month ago. (a) We didn't want to compromise in other ways and are committing to not reintroducing the 5h limit, so that you can fully use the weekly usage when you want. (b) On the subscription, we guarantee that over time you always get more work done and with an increasing level of quality. This means that you will continue to get more value per dollar spent as a result of models getting more efficient and us passing down the improvements in the form of API price reductions. (c) We don't want to put an incentive on ourselves to artificially inflate the API list prices to make it look like you are getting a lot (and workaround it through discounts, etc). Instead we want to continue to both rapidly reduce prices and increase capabilities of models on the API. This week we introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna at 50% of their previous price. Over time, we see prices go low enough that it makes sense for most to buy usage as needed without there being a significant gap between what you get in a subscription and what you get in the API for a dollar spent. (d) Tomorrow, we are adding more things to the subscription that won't draw on the usage, I won't reveal what that is yet. I wanted to be transparent before all the big announcements tomorrow. Lots of new exciting things are coming to the subscriptions that will make it super compelling, but I wanted to make sure to share this change ahead of time so you can all understand it before we shower you with good news. Codexingly, Tibo

Elite prompting is increasingly akin to spell casting. In the new economy, value will flow to the spellcasters. Maybe it always has.
