Fk all you crybaby Ponys. Cry more
Multiple large streamers such as Dr Disrespect, Nick Mercs, and Burnt Peanut have a mixture of opinions about Gears of War: E-Day, and they are all negative.
Burnt Peanut has reportedly given the game a 5/10, saying that it's boring and terrible. Nickmercs says that the game has too much "emotional writing" that goes against the stoic nature of the previous games.
Dr Disrespect has decided to quit the game after part 1, as his interest and viewer interest have plummeted during the stream. The main complaint was that the game was boring and disappointing.
That's a really bad look for a game that cost over $400 million to make, including marketing costs. The game is still in early access, and those who are playing now paid $100 for the top-level tier to play it early.
No wonder the employees at the studio fear a layoff... the game is looking like yet another commercial disaster, a flop.
