I used to think when working with subagents you want a a high reasoning model to manage a bunch of low reasoning once, aka a smart manager and dumb workers. Well it turns out its the other way around. Manager can be dumb, it only needs to follow a plan and delegate work.

So here is the process: 1. Planing with highest reasoning model, Astra and co. 2. Luna high follows the plan then with a todo list. It's job is highly parallelize the task using Sol medium - the workhorse. 3. Luna is a great choice because the input token cost is low enough, but

its not too dumb, it can process all the output from subagents, it can do course correction, it can listen to my input and most importantly: IT CAN FOLLOW THE PLAN

Cloudflare MCP uninstalls in Codex all the time by itself, anyone else seeing this?

Wait, where did I see that long time ago? 🫠
Here are some of the behind the scenes for the F.02 Decommission To be clear: we actually trained our robots to jump autonomously, shipped them to Finland, and had them leap into a vat of molten steel

I commented on instagram for the first time and now asking myself if I am going to get answers and likes till the end of my day there. What a shit-hole.

AI stole my dopamine. Building things with AI doesn't create the same effect as when you make something yourself. At the beginning it was amazing, but now it's too easy - your body won't reward you with dopamine.
vuln: so I keep writing blog posts about things I'm worried that AI might remove, like the joy of discovery, the struggle of articulation to explain what you mean, the habit of exercising your own mind, and even just the desire to, like, make things yourself. and I just can't seem to find it in myself to publish it, and I’m starting to understand why. like, I don't want to spend my time better at describing the loss. I want the writing to identify something worth preserving instead, and then maybe to try building towards it. I want to write about, “here is a human capacity that I think matters, and what would technology look like if we tried to strengthen it”. and I think my... I just don't want to be someone who just complains, you know. need to have something to show alongside the tell.

Isn't it funny that AI is also not good at naming things?

Not all SaaS will be dead, only platforms with unreasonable pricing, where people will rather invest into building a worse solution than paying the unreasonable price.

Philosophers would be great at vibe coding ... Do you actually understand what you are trying to solve? Why are you here? What if we nothing?

The only way to hire today is to talk about coffee. If they get it from supermarket - instant rejection
it's controversial, but in every interview, i ask candidates if they know anything about anything if they start to get a little too specific, instant rejection you need to hire generalists

They are now recording a real video, adding a few effects/cuts here and there to make everything think it's AI
It’s over

Pretty sure you can build a custom home or buy one since the size of a standard container would fit and this would be the best camper in the world.
Semi is here Today, we're launching high volume production

Every code review and every fix with AI's best models results in more code written. Most of code reviews and fixes made by best engineers I worked with resulted in code removed.

I've seen people describe Jev as an "AI if statement". But what if it actually WAS an if statement? Introducing Probably: a programming language powered by Jev: probably-lang.southpolesteve… Jev baked into the language. “feels” asks a question. “match” routes between descriptions. “while” keeps going until something stops feeling true. This is obviously a toy, but it's fun to think about what something like Jev unlocks. Jev makes the decisions, an LLM does the writing, and a little program ties it together.

I find it interesting how Stripe recognizes fradulent payment, marks it as such, allows you to validate, block, refund, and yet still takes the stripe processing fee.

Next step is Helix taxi. Comes over to your home, does the work, goes away.
The holy grail for robotics is being able to generalize: doing work in unseen places We rented 30 homes in the Bay Area and are doing tasks without any new training

Coming soon: timewaster. For the longest time, I've wanted a way to waste the time of people who spam my inbox with spammy cold emails. Well, now there's a solution. timewaster uses AI to design replies that will waste the time of those who spam us. It's time to fight back.
