I would only get a chip if I could actually own it, audit the software/firmware, and have full control over the device. Probably not going to happen, mfers charge subscriptions to use existing hardware in "owned" vehicles right now. Fuck that. 🦞🧐

Neuralink prioritizes disabilities currently. I would opt in and sign off on the risk. I’ve already pursued the option and continue to monitor this technology.

No. I wont even use a digital watch with geolocation. I even keep my phone off my person whenever possible. Im all about human autonomy. Its even more important to me then longevity. Definitely never syncing with the matrix

I'd have to see how it pans out with the first adopters, but if it gave me the chance to live however I want in FDVR... it would be hard to say no

Not for a long time after it's been out and the unanticipated side effects have been acknowledged. Probably not even then once I know what they are!

The day it becomes available, I definitely won’t be one of the first to use it! I’ll wait at least 5 years for the technology to mature and for there to be solid feedback. And if everything goes well by then, I’ll definitely do it too!

One exception for this, disabled or not, there’s something to prove. Music language would be the ultimate test for this and all you’d need is midi.. Our mind is the ultimate instrument 🎶

AS TO BE EXPECTED... First, the chips will be for people with disabilities. Afterwards, they’ll be for people who want to enhance their abilities. Eventually, anyone who doesn’t get a chip will be left behind.
