FLUX 3 Video just hit #2 in the world on a major AI video leaderboard, just days after launch.
Black Forest Labs' new video generation model FLUX 3 Video was tested on Arena's Text-to-Video Arena leaderboard. The updated version scored 1496 points, landing at #2, just 16 points behind the #1 spot, Gemini Omni Flash (1512 points).
FLUX 3 Video launched on August 4, 2026. It generates clips up to 20 seconds long in HD resolution, with Full HD available via upscaling, plus native audio generated alongside the video. It supports text-to-video, image-to-video with multiple frames, video continuation, multiple scenes/camera angles in one clip, and dialogue in multiple languages with lip-sync. It also has a Draft mode for fast, lower-cost previews before full-quality rendering.
Design Arena separately ranked FLUX 3 Video #2 overall among video models, with an Elo of 1325, behind Gemini Omni Flash and ahead of MiniMax H3.
To celebrate the ranking, Black Forest Labs is making FLUX 3 Video free to use in its playground until Sunday, August 16th at 11:59pm PT.
