If visually impaired, does the phone vibrate on the walking distance to the car? Send the idea as it will help a lot of folks who can't see.

Heard of License Plates? ;-) Millions of Uber, Lyft customers today use License Plate to identify and confirm their ride in crowded areas. The problem is the occasional Tesla without front license plates. :-) Lyft already supported adjustable colored lights many years ago.

Saw this yesterday in Orange County CA. I asked the driver about it and he said “I can’t discuss my job”

I personally don't think there will be enough to have to know which one is picking you up but pretty cool anyway

Uber’s version is still “silver Camry, maybe, look for the phone on the dash,” or “I’m the black Honda with the dent.” Waymo just sits there hoping you guess right. Cybercab puts a full-width light bar on the front so you don’t climb into the wrong robot and end up at the airport. After ten years of squinting at plates in the dark, that light bar feels like cheating.

Designed exactly as I would expect. No numbers, no digits, just color. Perfect And there’s so many options to expand upon that too

Can we have this for finding our own Tesla's in car parks now they are so common, more subtle than horn or headlight ...

True. The only thing is, with only a couple of these roaming the streets (and geofenced), neither the rider finds his ride, nor the investor has found his for half a decade (Stock flat for 5 yrs)! Think about that.. Funny isn't it? $TSLA #Cybercab

Great feature! I honestly think MegaGlow or CyberGlow would be a better name than Megalamp.

The robots that clean out the Cybercab should be called Mega Maid with a switch for suck and blow!

This feature is illegal in Australia… either an exemption needs to be applied for or some other location for the colour identification needs to be found.

Megalamp is a oddly bad name. It isn't mega. "FindBar" or "SoYouKnowMeGlow" or something fun. Ask SpaceX... They know how to name things (barges)
