The issue is that those 6 players weren't in the captaincy race and even at that time were playing as a single unit. Our top 6 or 7 players have been extremely politicised and simply cannot play together.
Six out of India’s Top 7 who have won the T20 WC were in the team that failed to qualify for the semis and routed by Pakistan in 2021 in UAE. India changed their method of batting, not the batters. A lesson for many teams on how to optimise your resources.

Going forward, what Pakistan cricket needs to do is to depoliticise Babar. For that he has to be removed as a captain in T20s. There is no doubt that he's the best batter Pakistan has got but this politics around captaincy will ruin him. Make him earn his spot in the T20 team.

تو اُس پر پانی کا چھڑکا ضرور کریں
ایک دنیا ہے جو آپکے گھر کے لان میں آباد ہے
اللہ کا رحم بھی حاصل ہوگا
