Ukraine has announced the first “combat deployment” of the FP-7 ballistic missile against Russian targets. There have been no recent reports of Ukrainian ballistic missile launches or targets hit.

Russia has reportedly targeted the 750 kV substation "Kyivskaya” in the Kiev region which provides electricity transmission between the Rivne nuclear power plant and Kiev. The substation was previously targeted in January of this year which caused major power outages in the Ukrainian capital.

A new cumulative cutting warhead for the Geran-4 has been employed in these recent attacks on power lines. This warhead is designed specifically to slice through high-strength metal structures rather than destroying them via conventional blast fragmentation
