Dharapuram is a different battlefield. If TVK loses there, I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. The constituency has its own strong caste-polarisation dynamics.
But if TVK breaks through and wins Dharapuram, the political message to ADMK would be impossible to ignore. It would show that even in a constituency shaped by entrenched community equations, TVK can cut through the old vote-bank arithmetic.
Madurantakam, however, is a constituency where TVK’s performance carries a different kind of significance and that contest deserves serious focus.
