Some people are going around asking-
Who made you our leader? Don't you owe us an explanation? Why you chose to speak for an organization (which btw has fought 20+ cases for GCs in courts, over 20 yrs).
Simple answer:
Nobody made me a leader.
& I don't claim to be one.
I'm just a voice. I speak in my personal capacity, as someone against caste-based policies.
I started talking about this five years ago, when we had very few such voices.
& Along the way I found equally passionate & committed people. Our work shifted the narrative and got attention.
But that's the crime, apparently!
Now for the gyan distributors:
You want to lead?
Lead. File a case. Show up in court. We didn't sit around waiting for a coronation, so I'm not sure what invitation you're expecting.
Nobody has stopped you. The courts are right there. & SM is for everyone.
But that would need actual work. Easier to spend the day auditing people who are already doing it.
Fact is, if this cause actually bothered you, you'd be busy with your own petition, not with our credentials.
Attacking someone who already has a little credibility, is just the fastest way to get noticed, look important, and maybe monetise it later. That's not concern for GCs. That's a career plan.
And no, this cause isn't a job for us. We don't get paid for it. So no, we don't owe you an explanation.
Bhad mein jao.
Thank you๐
