We let competing companies or complete strangers compute together on sensitive data: private inputs, verifiable outputs, no trusted hardware.

EVM
The internet gave us infrastructure to connect, communicate, and transact. But more and more of what we need to do together now involves information that cannot simply be shared. Digital voting should produce a public, verifiable result without exposing individual choices. Healthcare researchers should be able to learn from sensitive patient data without exposing the people behind it. Competitors should be able to solve shared problems without giving up the information that keeps them competitive. Interfold is building infrastructure for that problem: confidential coordination. It lets independent parties compute together across private inputs without exposing them or relying on trusted hardware. Decryption is distributed across independent operators, and anyone can verify the result. That opens the door to digital democratic systems with secret ballots, markets built around private positions, and entirely new forms of collective intelligence. Systems increasingly bring together people, institutions, and agentic systems with different interests and incentives. The internet needs a new coordination model built for that reality.

proof survives context. meaning doesn't.
still can’t believe blockchains give cryptographic proof some art was pre-AI few understand in 2080, swarms of trillionaire agents will have mathematical evidence these works were obsolete to the century's paradigm, with immutable record of which bloodlines to eternally punish

A major milestone for Interfold: The first live confidential governance process ran end-to-end on @ethereum via a receipt-free secret ballot. Private ballots. Encrypted tally. Threshold decryption. Verifiable result. No trusted hardware. No single trusted tallying authority.

participating online shouldn't require giving up privacy. @wslyvh's new edition of In the Open covers AI, surveillance, ID checks, and how much private data we hand over just to use the internet. very close to our work at Interfold. glad to support. read + subscribe.
Edition #3 1. AI wants more data and fewer limits 2. Privacy for me, surveillance for thee 3. More ID checks. More data to lose. And our usual news, wins, tools and updates Big thanks to @theInterfold for supporting the work 🙏 newsletter.intheopen.cc/p/in…

The Constitution proposal did not reach quorum, so it was not ratified. But the first live vote still delivered the proof we were looking for: the full confidential governance process worked on mainnet. Thanks to everyone who participated. We’ll share next steps shortly.

agency needs somewhere to live. for a long time, work has been one of those places. but as machines take on more of that work, what can disappear is not just income, but also responsibility, judgment, bargaining power. so where else can agency live? work gives people leverage because institutions need something from them. but having a say does not have to depend on scarce labor or being indispensable. agency can also come from how people are organized in relation to one another: who can initiate, who can refuse, who can coordinate with whom, who can change the terms they share. that asks more of systems than better outputs. it asks whether people can remain distinct, keep some things private, and still change shared state: the decisions, rules, and conditions they live with together. agency does not have to belong to one actor or one scale. as shared systems become increasingly composed of people, institutions, and machines, the more interesting ones may be those that let different kinds of participants coordinate across difference and still shape what they share.

as computation becomes infrastructure, coordination becomes the harder question: how do different actors participate in shared systems without revealing everything they know or trusting the same intermediary?

Proud to have @theInterfold secured and governed on @AragonProject by $FOLD holders! Now live!
Interfold governance is live. $FOLD holders can now take part in network decisions through secret ballots: individual choices remain private while collective results are verifiable, no receipts. The network is putting confidential coordination to work in its own governance.

This is the part most DAOs still skip. @theInterfold is not running a public Snapshot poll you can screenshot and sell. $FOLD holders vote through secret ballots: your choice stays private, the tally is still verifiable, and there is no receipt to prove how you voted. That is the whole pitch, confidential coordination, used on their own governance first. Constitution ratification is already live. Voting power is snapshotted when a proposal is created, so wallet $FOLD does not count until you lock and delegate. Do that now or you are just watching.
