I was listening to one of Dax’s interview on YouTube and this part genuinely blew my mind. He talked about his prop firm days and why he used to fail so many challenges. I was like huh? BIG DAX? 😳😳 1.The 30day challenge limit. The 30-day challenge limit was one of his biggest problems. He was putting pressure on himself to complete the challenge within 30 days, so instead of just trading normally and letting his setups come, he was rushing the process. 2. He also said he hated demo trading, so prop firm accounts became his training accounts. At the time. 3. He boldly said he was still a struggling trader without a solid edge. 4. He said he wasn’t disciplined, and he had no proper plan for each account. 5. He was basically trading and buying new challenges every week. Kai, I to love @thissdax The fact he never sugarcoated his journey. Man is toooooooo real. He finally said everything changed after he recognised these mistakes. He passed his first challenge when he stopped forcing the process and actually started trading with a plan. One thing I took from that interview: don’t put yourself under unnecessary pressure. The market isn’t going anywhere. Trade your setup, follow your plan and let the results come. No pressure.
