The new abstractions here that @mattzcarey has setup are fantastic. Workers OAuth provider is now a flexible programmable Auth server and Resource server. It’s powerful enough to build enterprise grade iam flows.

@cloudflare/workers-oauth-provider hit v1 with a split API. One Worker handles auth while another validates tokens for your MCP servers via Service Bindings. It supports the MCP 2026-07-28 spec. developers.cloudflare.com/ch…

Libraries have never been why more important, once you get the abstractions of the components right agents can oneshot things that you would not believe possible
I keep telling people this. Frameworks and, to a lesser degree depending on context, packages are ways for you, or your agent, to do less unique work per app/feature, which means better work, smaller context, less tokens/effort, more maintainability, easier future comprehension

My cat had a poop nugget stuck in his bum fluff and I used my girlfriends upholstery scissors to trim it out. Strong possibility I die today

I’m increasingly convinced that people are spending most of their time building in agent terminals, and very little time actually using what they produce. Lot of stuff is broken from the start, some stuff that worked before is now broken in weird ways.

One more thing, a personal one: I've joined our new Observability org! The goal is simple. Build the best observability platform out there and set the standard for how all cloud platforms should do it. Very excited for this one.
