Prominent US war hawk John Bolton has pled guilty to violating the Espionage Act after previously demanding execution for whistleblowers Edward Snowden & Chelsea Manning and 176 years in prison for publisher Julian Assange. As part of a plea agreement, Bolton admitted to unlawfully retaining sensitive national security information. He now faces up to 5 years in prison, up to 3 years of supervised release, a $2.25 million fine, forfeiture of his pension, and is due to be sentenced on 28 October.

German Court Shields Israeli-Linked Politician from Public Trial in Child Abuse Case A German court chose to avoid a full public hearing in former Bundestag politician Hartmut Ebbing's child sex abuse case, citing concerns that exposure could harm his role as treasurer within the German–Israeli Society (Deutsch-Israelische Gesellschaft (DIG)). Instead, the case was handled through a criminal order, limiting public scrutiny. Ebbing asked that his case be handled in the expedited procedure with a criminal order. He referred to the “modest prominence” that he had “at least in a certain Berlin bubble”. A main public hearing, he argued, would also be a serious blow to the German–Israeli Society if the allegations became known. Since October 7, Hebbing argued, such non-disclosure had become even more important to prevent harm to society. The district court allowed Ebbing’s request. This resulted in a court decision that prioritised protecting reputation and institutional relationships with Israel over full transparency in a case involving the abuse of German children.

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, who filed arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant over Gaza, has been cleared of all wrongdoing over “sexual misconduct” allegations. The unanimous conclusion of the panel of judges concluded that the allegations “do not establish any misconduct or breach of duty.” Reports in August 2025 documented the scale of the intimidation campaign targeting the ICC chief prosecutor: “The campaign has involved threats and warnings directed at Karim Khan by prominent figures, close colleagues and family friends briefing against him, fears for the prosecutor’s safety prompted by a Mossad team in The Hague, and media leaks about sexual assault allegations.” The case unfolded against the backdrop of Khan’s efforts to pursue investigations into alleged war crimes by Israeli officials in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories.

Jared Kushner linked to Israeli-American brothers convicted of sex trafficking. Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander - recently found guilty in a major U.S. sex-trafficking case - had their surname redacted in the Epstein files, despite claims from Kash Patel that the files contained no evidence of trafficking. Rep. Thomas Massie later exposed the names. In December 2020, the brothers attended Donald Trump’s White House Hanukkah celebration. Oren Alexander wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post: “Spare your political views. The president just served us kosher food in his house and wished us a Happy Hanukkah.” Photos from the event showed Tal and Oren posing inside the White House. Their links to Trump-world extended beyond parties. Oren Alexander brokered the $24 million Indian Creek mansion purchased by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in 2021. The brothers were also fixtures in elite Israeli and American networks. Seven years ago, twins Alon and Oren celebrated their 30th birthday at the upscale Claro restaurant in Tel Aviv, with a guest list including Israeli billionaire Shari Arison and Donald Trump advisor Aaron Jordan. His retirement took effect two weeks later. One day after the announcement Epstein, emailed his long-standing contact Landon Thomas Jr., then a journalist at the New York Times, writing “Sulzberger - told you”, to which Thomas Jr. asked for proof “that was driving this”. Epstein replied: “wait”. Epstein's relationship with the Sulzberger family dated back to the 1970s, when he spent time at the Sulzberger family's country estate, according to a draft Epstein profile written by Landon Thomas Jr. for NY Magazine in 2015, which was never published. The NY Times has downplayed the latest Epstein release, writing the documents “reveal a bygone elite”, and are “steeped in a clubby world that is all but gone”. The NY Times is now run by ‘Pinch’’s son, A.G. Sulzberger--the fifth generation Sulzberger to run the paper. The family has run the New York Times since 1896.

An Australian charity has sent more than $400 million in tax-deductible donations to Israeli groups including some that directly support the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). Australian donors to the 'United Israel Appeal' have supported individual 'lone immigrant' IDF soldiers, technology education programmes for young people to make them “strong candidates for elite IDF units”, and illegal settlement expansion in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The charity has held tax deductible status in Australia since 1998, with annual donations doubling in 2023 to $74.4 million with the onset of the Gaza genocide.

UPDATE: An Australian tax-deductable charity funnelling donations to Israel’s military and illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank has removed four fundraising campaigns from its home page after media reports. “...until yesterday, Chai’s home page hosted fundraisers for organisations that publicly state they provide direct support to IDF soldiers, as well as campaigns tied to settlement communities in the West Bank... Although the fundraisers were removed from the site’s homepage, the links to donate to the IDF and West Bank campaigns remain live.”

The complaint shows that Alfred Nobel's 1895 will explicitly mandates that the peace prize go to the individual who during the proceeding year “conferred the greatest benefit to humankind” by doing “the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.” Assange argues that “The political decision of the Norwegian selection committee does not suspend the fiduciary duty of Swedish funds administrators”. “Any disbursement contradicting this mandate constitutes misappropriation from the endowment”. The complaint, submitted simultaneously to the Swedish Economic Crime Authority (Ekobrottsmyndigheten) and the Swedish War Crimes Unit (Krigsbrottsenheten), states that the suspects, including Nobel Foundation Chair Astrid Söderbergh Widding and Executive Director Hanna Stjärne, converted “an instrument of peace into an instrument of war,” through suspected “serious criminality” including: 1) Breach of trust, gross misappropriation and conspiracy in relation to the pending 11 million SEK ($1.18 million) disbursement of the Peace prize monies to Maria Corina Machado, whose prior and ongoing actions categorically exclude her from the criteria set out in Alfred Nobel's will; 2) Facilitation of war crimes, including the crime of aggression and crimes against humanity, breaching Sweden's obligations under Article 25(3)(c) of the Rome Statute, because the accused are aware of Machado's incitement and endorsement of the U.S. commission of international crimes, and knew or ought to have known that the disbursement of Nobel monies would contribute to extrajudicial killings of civilians and shipwrecked survivors at sea and are in breach of their obligation to cease disbursements. Assange notes that the members of the Nobel Foundation have previously exercised their supervisory authority over the prizes and their disbursements by withholding Literature Prize disbursements in 2018. “Failure to intervene here, despite U.S. war crimes off the Venezuelan coast and Machado’s key role in furthering aggression” incurs criminal liability. “Alfred Nobel's endowment for peace cannot be spent on the promotion of war,” Assange states. The accused have concrete legal obligations because they are tasked with “ensuring the fulfillment of the intended purpose of Alfred Nobel’s will, that is, to end wars and war crimes, and not to enable them.” MACHADO'S INCITEMENT OF THE LARGEST U.S. MILITARY BUILDUP SINCE THE IRAQ WAR MAKE HER CATEGORICALLY INELIGIBLE The complaint notes how the Nobel announcement and ceremony have occurred in what military analysts describe as “the largest U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean since the Cuban Missile Crisis”—now exceeding 15,000 personnel, including the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. The escalation continues as President Trump announced on December 10, two days after the Nobel ceremony, that U.S. strikes would be “starting by land.” The Venezuela strategy is part of what Trump’s Secretary for War, Peter Hegseth, calls a shift toward “maximum lethality, not tepid legality” and “going on the offence”. Against this backdrop, Assange states that “Machado has continued to incite the Trump Administration to pursue its escalatory path”, including by entering into a conspiracy to give the U.S. administration access to $1.7 trillion in oil reserves and other natural resources through privatization once Maduro is ousted. “Using her elevated position as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Machado may well have tipped the balance in favour of war, facilitated by the named suspects.” Assange states in the criminal complaint. The complaint lists evidence of this incitement of U.S. military intervention, as well as praising Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's conduct in Gaza. $7000 per post: Israel paying undisclosed US influencers amid Gaza backlash The Israeli government is paying US content producers up to $7000 per post as part of a major increase in budget for global influence campaigns. “We have to fight with the weapons that apply to the battlefields in which we engage, and the most important ones are on social media,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a group of US-based Jewish influencers in New York this week. A September 2025 filing by Bridges partners LLC on behalf of 'Government of Israel through Havas Media Group' under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) details “Initial payments for production and influencers. Concept development with each influencer. Begin matching with Israeli content partners and writing initial post,” among other line items. More than half the $900,000 total appears to be allocated to the recruitment and training of a cohort of more than a dozen US-based online influencers expected to post pro-Israel content. The campaign is part of a larger influence push by Israeli authorities amid a collapse of public support in the US and elsewhere as the Gaza genocide draws into its third year. In late 2024, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar negotiated a 20-fold increase in the foreign influence budget, securing USD$150 million. The sudden deployment of a US naval attack group toward the coast of Venezuela is raising fears of an expensive new military conflict in Latin America. The legal cover for the tasking of the seven warships, surveillance aircraft, 2200 Marines and a nuclear attack submarine is an executive order in January 2025 and subsequent reclassification of eight organised crime syndicates as foreign terrorist organisations for the first time. In May 2025 Secretary of State Marco Rubio was concurrently appointed National Security Advisor—the first time since Henry Kissinger that someone has held both roles. The decision in early August 2025 to deploy the US military against “narco-terrorists” potentially leaves strikes by these forces outside Congressional authority. Leaked Palestine Action report shatters case for terror listing. The leaking of the key JTAC (Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre) assessment of Palestine Action by journalist Craig Murray confirms suspicions that the Government was advised that the group focused its actions on protest and property damage, falling well short of accepted international definitions of terrorism. According to Murray: “The JTAC report makes absolutely clear that its assessment of Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation is based only on the definition in the Terrorism Act, of a group that commits serious damage to property in order to influence government policy. I pause here to note that the United Nations has intervened in the case to state that this does not meet international standards for defining terrorism. Damage to property should only be terrorism when the intent is to endanger life, such as damaging an air traffic control centre. The JTAC report in fact notes that Palestine Action stresses its philosophy of non-violent action against people.” The Starmer Government relied on this previously unreleased assessment as justification for listing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation. JTAC is hosted within MI5, and has representation from a dozen government departments and national security and surveillance agencies, including MI6, GCHQ, counter-terrorism police and the Home Office.

Leaks reveal Microsoft helped Israel deploy Azure cloud for mass surveillance and airstrike planning. Leaked documents reveal Microsoft’s Azure cloud was used by Israel’s Unit 8200 for mass surveillance on Palestinians, recording millions of calls from Gaza and the West Bank. Sources inside the unit told +972 magazine that the data was used for arrests, blackmail, and targeted killings. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella approved the deal in 2022 after meeting with Unit 8200’s commander in Seattle. He called the project “critical,” aiming to move 70% of Israeli intelligence to Azure.

It’s horrible. There was no box for this young man. So he picked up some things that he found on the ground, and he was so thankful for even that. And he walked up to me and he extended his hand, and I beckoned for him to come forward, and he grabbed my hand, and he kissed my hand and he said, “Shukran, shukran,” and he was sincere. “Then he held my hand and he kissed it, and I knelt down to look at him in the face so I can let him know that, you know, people care. You’re not alone. People care. And he set down his bags and he put his hands on my face and he kissed me. “And he says, “Thank you.” And he picked up his bags and he went back to join this group. This was the last remaining group of people on the site that were picking up remnants of aid. “The IDF [Israeli military] opened up with machine gun fire into the crowd to get them to leave faster, to get them to hurry. Shooting at their feet, shooting over their head, shooting into the berm. There’s video of this. It’s been verified. That’s the first time I had experienced such use of force against… So I didn’t know what was going on because he had walked through the berm, and I heard the shooting. So I ran up to the berm to look, and there were dead Palestinians. He was one of them.”

In relation to 'interference in diplomatic and political affairs' it cites the years-long US and Israeli campaign of sanctions and threats against the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court – both institutions based in the Netherlands. The Netherlands’ "Threat Assessment State-sponsored Actors 2025" report was compiled by the National Coordinator for Terrorism and Security (NCTV) and released on 17 July 2025.

30 State Alliance Moves to End Gaza Atrocities. Weapons bans, financial divestments, prosecutions: a coalition of 30 states spanning Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe has launched an international initiative aimed at ending the ongoing atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank. The 'Hague Group' alliance was formed in January 2025, and convened this week in Bogotá, Colombia, to announce coordinated legal, economic, and political actions against Israel’s conduct in the occupied Palestinian territories. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said inspections at the damaged sites are now “meaningless” and could “possibly be malign in intent.” The move came shortly before Iranian President Pezeshkian approved a new law cutting ties with the agency. In justifying the suspension, Iranian officials have accused IAEA chief Rafael Grossi of “preparing the groundwork” for U.S. and Israeli airstrikes and of sharing the names of prominent Iranian nuclear scientists who were then assassinated. Iranian sources claim the agency gave sensitive information to Israel and “followed [Israel’s] orders” in June 2025, based on as-yet unreleased documents.
